Bad memories.

Good question, is this stating the only memories that you have are bad memories or that one can possess both good and bad memories?

both desu
benjamin clementine - at least for now
astrid williamson - we go to dream

being alive

Terry Riley - The Book of Abbeyozzud

Kayo Dot - Coffins on Io
Alain Bashun - Fantaisie Militaire

no memories at all is worse. although i guess it depends on how bad the memories are. Ever seen Oldboy?

If one is not aware of the existence of good memories bad memories may not give that much distress compared to not having memories at all. A lot of the things we do is based on habits and memories of a past. Without this we would be somewhat helpless. Bad memories can be learnt from to some degree, this of course depends on what these bad memories are exactly. Are they traumatic experiences outside of your control or personal mistakes? Let's say a mix. But how would existence without memories really be like? Would we really be able to live the present? Would life be better?

Hedvig Mollestad Trio – All Of Them Witches

>Attack Attack

I'm sorry, I have to ask.

it's a chart focusing purely on albums' significance to my life presently or past stages of it, so i can't be helped

Makes sense.

I listened to Attack Attack back when I was a teeny weeny too so no judgement.

Help me out with this one, Sup Forums. It's my Girls-laying-down core chart. I wanted to add Morita Doji - A Boy and Purple Pilgrims s/t but the site doesn't have them.

no memories, it leaves you free to create your own good memories without being held down by the past

I'm actually really digging Tyler though.

Listening to Wolf rn and I'm liking it even more than Goblin.

Does this count?

well still check out earl's new album if you haven't. i dug tyler for a while but his whole edgy persona gets boring fast imo

I need some more recs, anything related to my top 10 would be great.

Has anyone heard the post-hiatus godspeed records?

I was planning on checking him out after I'm done with Tyler.

I got you, family

I have experience with both famalam. I honestly don't have any good memories, like, at all but at the same time my childhood was so deprived of experiences that most normal kids get that I almost have no memories too. I honestly feel that having no memories is worse because it leaves you with a whole host of issues that prevent you from relating to other people due to the fact that you never fucking did anything. That's just probablg because of traumatic things that happened to me early on though. If you wore just rlly boring but not sad I guess that's better than having bad memories because then you can just move forward. If you're a hypersensitive man baby like me and being called a fag traumatizes you then that's worse because it makes it harder to form good memories because you think everyone and everything is shit like I do and then you're really anxious and terrified of the world like me bc your parents would rather fight and throw things at each other than take care of you and then wen U go to school instead of making friends the other kids would just beat the shit out of U LOL

yee and they're better than yung lean at least so theres that

>Nana
ty for the reminder, i knew there was something missing from my chart

You get really angry, then are upset at yourself for getting that angry later on

You like triangles

Most people have listened to post-hiatus GYBE, I really like Asunder Sweet, and Other Distress. Have you tried and ambient music? Check out Brian Eno's ambient series.

Same bud, I just keep downloading more and more, and I lose track of shit. Nice Ambient 4, that's my favorite Eno

What's the album top left with the sun and clouds?

how is that Drones album? What do you really like about it?

Do you really think there's anybody out there?

I love how you're like 1/3rd slacker, 1/3rd gangsta, and 1/3 jazz dude. Sick taste. Check out Black Flag for more hardcore punk if you haven't.

I've been meaning to check out The Fall of Troy, a buddy of mine really likes 'em.

What's that album with the Elf on it called? I remember seeing that on Bandcamp

Once again, seconding Tiger Trap. Also check out Beat Happening.

its Biokinetics by Porter Ricks

Do you like Converge? You'll probably like TFOT if you do.

Thanks, it seems like something that would be up my alley, I'll check it out!

I've never listened to Converge, but I like post-hardcore stuff and math-y stuff, which is what I heard TFOT is.

Yeah, they're definately the most post-hardcorey mathcore band out there. (At least from what I've heard)

Listening to Entertainment! now, great album so far dude cheers.

Feelin Kinda Free is awesome man, it's a really consistent record, each song has a unique and interesting texture. I really like the dancier moments on the album, like Tamun Shud and especially Boredom.

Sorry if it's edgy I'm just being honest.
