Is the US GPU market as fucked?

Is the US GPU market as fucked?

Keep in mind that all those prices are with a 25% VAT included.

Man, if only there was some way you could view prices in the US.

Your not fooling anybody. That in kr not $. Nice try.

We're not answering for all the Kay jops in the world

First one is 989 $, second 1015$, 3rd 1066$, 4th 1079$, and the last one 1105$.

test

The situation is shit everywhere, but USA has it worse, since people seem to be way more invested in cryptoshit over there. The cheapest 1080 Ti that I can find here in Latvia is called Inno3D iChiLL GeForce GTX 1080 TI and that's 900 Euros. (~8,7k NOK) Even here the markets are raped and there is nothing in stores.
Fucking hell, I am so glad I got a 1070 in summer 2016

just wait for turing and ampere.
i for one will hoard ampere if it's good for mining and then resell for a profit when price hits the fan.

No is worse. They are simply not available here.

You are the cancer responsible.

Trust me it will fail so hard lol.

PC Gayman was dead before mining came along.
Why? Because it relied too much on superior hardware for muh graphics autists.
Maybe now they'll be forced to focus more on gameplay and less on pretty pictures.

>PC Gayman was dead before mining came along.
No it wasn't. In fact we were finally moving away from social shit and indie spamming.

You are a cancer. You contribute nothing to society.

I sometimes wonder if you people ever consider what you write. How am i supposed to interpret your post?
"it" could stand for anything

Was looking at 1080ti's couple of days ago, set me back £1000, but i'm gonna just end up getting it and paying it monthly over 2 years or some shit. Retarded thing to do, but i want one.

>financing for 2 years for 1000 queenbux
bruv wtf

I've been buying 1050 ti for mining
About $220 a pop with inflated prices.
$6 a day mining so far
Have 2 more coming next week.

The RoI is actually faster than rx480s or 1070s
Its also Without a $4000+ initial investment of higher end GPUs

>Retarded thing to do, but i want one.
>financing for 2 years for 1000 queenbux
>this is why so many poor people stay poor

Crypto faggots are the worst fucking shit

Gaymers are cancer.

>tfw mining card prices are ruined by gamers

never seen a computer store that put their GPUs on a shelf that anyone could just pick up.

always see them behind counters or locked up.

My garage is still half empty thanks to greedy gamers buying up all the mining cards for frivolous entertainment purposes.

Even with free power how is this viable? It'll take months to recoup the cost of the cards and mining difficulty goes up as time goes up

how would we know if you post in sand money

what type of coins do you mind?

i would be willing to give this mining stuff a try with my single 1050ti rig when im not using it for other stuff.

OP here, the currency in pic is bitcoin

>SSD on a mining rig
shiggy diggy

At Fry's they're just out in the open, and the one near me is basically in the ghetto.

My power is almost free, but even then; power isn't an issue.
The return on investment is still long term, currently it's 200 days or so.

I set up this rig because 5 years ago I was mining Bitcoin and everyone told me it was too late to make money.
So I sold my 0.5 Bitcoin and stopped mining.
Anyone why says it's too late is a fucking retard.

I mine a lot of Luxcoin right now.
But Zcash and ETH are still profitable.
170 Sol's in zcash
15.5mh/s in ETH

>6 dollars a day with 5 1050ti at 220 dollars
user, I make 3 dollars a day with one 980 which cost £170. Did you not think the cost/benefit through at all?

tfw made profit from buying my 1070 Ti by selling to miner, and stepping down from gaming so i can focus on studies. also used profit to buy broken 7th gen i5 700$ laptop for 120$ so i can fix. have fun salty gamers. literally the best time to stop playing games and focusing on real life

new coins appear, so there is always something viable to mine.

Also with the shittone of ICOs and new coins poppin up, having this kind of amateur is probably a requirement.

PC building is dead

980s have almost the same hashrate as 1050 ti and sell for $300 used.
So it's $80 more expensive used and uses 3x the power
>PC building is dead
Good

I"m not the guy you're responding to, but I have 4x 1080Ti's that are currently printing around $20/day, increasing as the shitcoins recover from recent shenanigans.

At their peak they were making around $35 - 40.

GPU market is gonna stay fucked until mining is no longer feasible, which I don't see happening any time soon.

Yeah but how much does the electricity cost per day

Everything will stabilize when Volta and ddr6 are released.
Nvidia isn't making 1000 series GPUs anymore so stock is low and demand is high.
DDR5 production I slowly being replaced by ddr6.

56 cents every 24 hours.
And since I have 3 roommates, it's split in 1/3.
Power isn't the issue.
