How many languages do you know?

How many languages do you know?

>yfw only 3
>why even life

i learnt about half the dutch langauge and then we left the EU so i gave up (i was using it to fill the EU's bilingual requirement for potential employees)

3 and a tad of arabic thanks to our muzzies

My English is poor.
My Russian is perfect.
My Tatar is 30 words.

>language
>Brasil

Can you have a normal chat with someone that speak that language?

I know english since I was 6 but I still can't think in english...

>basically monolingual

>Estonian
>Russian
>English

Taqvaylit, French, Arabic and English and learning Spanish.

In German and English without a problem.

Castellano es difícil para mí. Pero pienso que es mejor de portugués

Da.
You are silly whith that thing. You know that?
I do not hate you also.
(you are stupid turk actually?)

3. My country's colonial past lives within me. (Except for Japanese)

very poor

Not really but I assume that you are indeed a Russian with an limited mindset.

Hola hombre que es tu vida en Argentina?

as you wish ubermenshc

¿Desde cuándo sabes tú español?

>Bulgarian
>English
>Really basic level of Russian

Quite well
>Czech, English
Somewhat
>French, Icelandic
Poorly
>Spanish, Japanese
I can also understand most of Slovak, but can't speak it properly.

>why even life
>life
I see English isn't one of them

A bit of Italian, self-taught just because I wanted a new hobby. I'll probably do the same for French once I'm more fluent in Italian

Es geht mir gut, aber schläfrig...

Aprendere mejor tu idioma algun dia, Deutsch Freund

Desde 2 años. Pero pienso que mi español es malo. :(

Slovak,Czech - native
English, Japanese - pretty good
Hungarian - vocabulary could use some work
German - quite shit

Этo нe ты нa тpaктope гoняeшь?

know english, my country's language, some deutsch and im going to study arabic lmao

Es bastante bueno. Basico, pero eso no es malo

1.Grammar Nazi
2.I fuck life/live up way to often.

No. Verdaderamente, tu español es bien. Hay errores, sí, pero están pocos, y no creo que los noten.

>to

:^) just kidding friend I respect how good you Euros are at our language, I find learning languages very difficult

Debes mejorar un poco el tuyo
En vez de "Es bien" es "Esta bien" y en vez de "Están pocos" es "Son pocos"

Supongo que es un problema acarreado del ingles (idioma basico y hasta tonto) o del filipino (que no conozco)

>En Filipinas se hablan más de 170 lenguas

Eso es mucho...

Gracias hombres. Mi problema es que mi no entiendo españoles, bueno que hablan español. Es una lengua muy rápida.
(Sorry for the cancer)

You start to remind me of my old teacher. What languages did you learn?

4, but three of them are pretty similar wester latin languages.

I want to learn a non indoeuropean language (although hindi might not be that bad either).

0

>english
>german
>schwitzerdütsch
>romantsch
>italian
>french

German, French, Spanish and English.

2 and half, can't be asked to practice french since I learnt it 8 years ago

Gracias. Necesito practicar más. Fuera de mi prima, que aún está aprendiendo como yo, no conozco nadie que lo habla.

5.

>Japanese
Can't speak perfect standard Japanese only dialect.
>English
Engrish

>Japanese only dialect
which one?

>can't speak perfect standard Japanese.
Only dialect.

Aparte de mi prima*
Bien en general

Russian
English
Basic German because Swiss/German fags customers assign task on me in german. Really hate them now.

Muchas gracias!

Yeah which dialect?

But your english seems fine

3 and learning a fourth one

London,Brazillian,Turkish,Hitler

2, learning German and a bit of Russian

only 7 languages.

Nagoya dialect

>only 7
kys
also what are they?

Spanish, Guaraní, English, decent level of French, learning Nihongo.

>goy

oy vey

Also thanks

The nordics languages dont count as 5 different languages in my opinion

Norwegian, Faroese, Swedish, Icelandic, Danish and English 100%
Plus maybe another memetic one for good measure

all glory to the living god Faroe

which ones senpai?

>Guaraní
t. el indio

>5/7 are nordic
i guess it's something but they're practically the same thing i mean i can learn hebrew and farsi in like 2 months tops each but that would be useless

...

German, English, French, Dutch. A little Latin as well.

english
faroese
icelandic
danish
norwegian
swedish
german
But they are different languages.

Faroese and Danish are the same language though

It is more like dialects to be honest.
I can agree that that Icelandic/Faroese is another language but not danish/swedish/norwegian.

Even tho the Nordic languages are mutual understanding they're quite different in many ways.

Anyway.
Fluent: Russian, Ukrainian, Polish.
B2: English
B1: Swedish
A1-2: German, Czech.

3, ranked from best at to worst
English
Swedish
Arabic

Thats completely wrong m8. I have a half faroese friend and he says its closest language is icelandic which clearly means its not close to danish.

Portuguese (and broken spanish by extention)
English
Italian (actually an old dialect from the region around Ancona, but it counts)
Planning to learn German after I graduate.

Yo hablo español, mi amigos.

They really arent that different. Its like comparing English and American English.
When i talk to my norwegian friend i always talk swedish.

¿Con esa gramática? Lo dudo.

Russian, Ukrainian
those are the same

i will kill you

Ossetian, Russian and English.

Funny thing, it looks like we churkas are more European than Russians in terms of language knowing. Majority of Russians can't even speak their own language properly, not to speak about foreign ones.

I know, i also speak Swedish with Norwegians, but when i had an idea of studying a second North-Germanic language i had discovered that Norwegian has in some way gendered objects so as Russian. It's not actually hard, and i can agree on that even Slavic languages are more different, but still.

Indios are only the 2% of the population dude, we speak guaraní because this good man ordered us to.

>nordics can understand each other with their own languages so they're multilingual
>I don't understand even some fucking japanese dialects

The majority of Russians i know speak English + Spanish\German.

Its literally the same thing, all that's different is word order (like speaking to your hick grandparents) and how words are pronounced. There's a reason why Danes have no problem understanding what they say

Just Korean. I don't even like English It's fucking hard to remember.

>worst at arabic
how can a person be so bad at their native language

Es verdad. Pero estoy aprendiendo.

He could be a foreigner at the American University of Beirut

Vale, eso ya es más realista.

unlikely but possible however why anyone would wanna study in Lebanon is beyond me

Theyre not even mutually intelligible

1

But we also gender objects.
For example when someone asks you what the clock is you say: Hon är 15:30. for example.
Hon meaning her.

let me laugh of you

by that logic, then german and english are the same language.

English Spanish Arabic Swahili and Ethiopian

Hon meaning she*

¿Lo que debería haber sido?

¿Es esto también equivocado?

It think that the only language that it hasn't gendering for objects are the english

Portuguese, English and working on my french. Want to learn Italian and maybe German someday.

Would learn spanish if I didn't hate the way it sounds.

Should I try to learn German now? as an European super state will exist

Jag vet, men det är inte så självklart. Som jag minns de har artiklar som på tyska (en ei et) men i svenska vi har bara ett\en vilken menar gemensam och neutral kön.
Anyway it's kinda like a ship is she in English, or even a car in case you "like it very much".
