It was a good idea.
They voted democratically, the majority of brits voted to leave the EU, and they'll leave.
i can respect that.
I gained a lot of respect for British democracy. Now I just think democracy is fake in Ireland and the US.
How is lying about spending 350million pounds on the nhs a good idea?
How is leaving the eu which makes them more money than they spend in it a good idea?
How is saying they are going to curb immigration but not actually going to so they can still be part of the eurozone a good idea?
Democracy is just another word for mob rule. I didn't vote for this, why does my voice not matter?
literally no economical losses
Rich people are mad that they will have to alter their plans. The average person will see no difference in their incomes.
In a few years the UK will be a lot better off than any EU country
>How is lying about spending 350million pounds on the nhs a good idea?
Just googled it, kek.
No wonder he retired so fast after the vote.
I hear Farage will immigrate to an caribbean Island.
>implying brexit was bad
fuck off commie
do you wnat a dicatorship? aristocracy?
They made their decision and now they have to live with it.
>why does my voice not matter?
Your a peice of shit Globalist, I would hope your voice is ignored
a global caliphat, inshallah
>I didn't vote for this, why does my voice not matter?
That's exactly what democracy means you stupid Jock faggot. You may not have voted for it, but others did. The majority did.
Shut the fuck up.
Fantastic idea
Democracy is dictatorship. My life is dictated by the drooling, uneducated opinions of the majority.
>You may not have voted for it, but others did.
By what right do they deem themselves fit enough to vote for such an important issue? Are they economists, doctors, lawyers? Are they educated about what the EU actually is? No, their only single thought is LETS TAKE OUR CUNTRY BACK xDDDDDD
Democracy is a sham.
If you had got your way you wouldn't be whining. You'd think democracy was fine
You're pathetic.
Farage never promised that and it would be a stupid way to spend the EU contribution money anyway
There are valid arguments against democracy, yet you bring none.
You are just being a Nagging Nancy because it didn't go your way.
Didn't the pound recover a week after the brexit?
>Are they economists, doctors, lawyers? Are they educated about what the EU actually is?
Are you?
Do you have an alternative to democracy? We're all dying to hear.
>Democracy is a sham.

It's still lower than it was before the vote, but it's climbing back (for now).
How desperate were you to post that?
Still based though.
I waited for years to get an opportunity to post that.
No regrets.
It was.
Of course he fucking did. It was one of their main slogans along with kick Mohammed out and FREEDOM.
It was a good idea. Look at how Germany is now moving to exert themselves over the rest of the EU, they announced earlier today that they're going to abolish the independent military of every country in Europe to establish an EU military led by Germany
That doesn't really tell me anything. What about the pound's purchasing power on the UK? What about the average wage and unemployment? What about the country's risk and exports/import balance before and after?
kek
Why do I always have to laugh if I read US-posts?
It's written into your reunification charter, right after the part about military bases.
>So are people still pretending brexit was a bad idea or did people wake up from the meme?
Some have. Brexit support has risen to 60% recently
Farage never said that
too early to tell but they have to bring it back up or else bad things will happen
unemployment is the same but if it the weakening continues they have to pay more or else there will be poverty due to rising prices an imbalance between price of living and the worth of currency
they aren't even out of the eu so they are still importing according to eu laws
He's right, he didn't make that claim.
He said he'd like to spend that money on that NHS, not that he would. There's a difference.
It's slightly dodgy, but it's a lie to say he broke a campaign promise.
He was saying it COULD go to the NHS not that it WOULD, even if he did say that he couldn't do anything about it because he isn't an MP
>Schools, Hospitals and GPs
>Next clip is about NHS alone
He honestly didn't say it my friend. The Vote Leave campaign made that claim, although honestly I think people just can't read. Farage was part of Leave.EU if I remember right? Someone here will know.
The bus said something like 350m a week to Brussels - Let's fund our NHS instead. People took that as 350m to the NHS for some reason.
>Damage control
LMAOing @ ur lives right now
>There were even advertisments on busses for this
We'll see who's laughing when your country is underwater.
I get that English isn't your first language, but can at least shut the fuck about something you don't understand?
>Being this buttblasted
oi im laffin
It was a democratic vote conducted among adults. I fully respect that, it's their decision. They chose to leave the EU even though now it seems that the leave campaign are not going to keep a single promise they made before the referendum.
Seeing what is in store for Britain under it's current post brexit leadership, the leave campaign wasn't lying, they should have never joined to begin with.
Do you at least appreciate how dumb it is to debate a native speaker of a language on the specifics of said language?
>speak like a tard
>defends farage
yep, typical ucuck voter
You ate the bait and it came right out of your ass, holy shit you're autistic.
So the movement which he was leading made these claims that they would spend it on the nhs but because he personally didn't say it he's in the clear now?
He never made any move to distant himself or the rest of the movement from these claims until the election was over. You think one of the main leaders of brexit would say something if he didn't actually want to do that. But he didn't and why is that? Because he wanted people to think they would because of dat voter out turn.
At best he is guilty of negligence and purposely misleading voters, at worst he is a lying sack of shit who didn't intend on keeping his word just like all his other bullshit lies.
Honestly both sides were stupid and people just needed to use their head a bit. Remain should've won by a good amount but you don't win votes by threatening WW3 and calling over half the country racist.
May's been a good PM so far if what she has planned goes through. Grammar schools are the anathema for the left though so we'll see.
>merely pretending to be retarded
Average Dutch poster right here.
>I got baited and butthurt over something online
>"you are an akshual retard!!!11"
No. Farage was part of Leave.EU, the movement that made the claim were Vote Leave. These are two different groups.
Can't answer the middle part because of your mistake in the first.
Farage didn't and can't make any promises because he isn't an MP and his former party does not have a government majority.
Would you like to try again?
We'll just build higher dikes :D
>actually being retarded
Average pro-brexit poster right here.
>t he is a lying sack of shit who didn't intend on keeping his word just like all his other bullshit lies.
Why do you think he retired directlöy after the leave vote?
Also: He is a politician after all
For a start, his party hasn't won an election or anything, he's not even an MP.
The Tories triggered the referendum, not UKIP.
Second, if you can find even one instance where the out campaign concretely promised £350 to the NHS i'll send you a sticker, because it didn't happen.
Saved to my American banter folder, thanks lad.
The water WILL get you one day. China, India and America will see to that.
>vote to leave the eu so we can import more pakis
englanders are strange.
>Says Scotland
You haven't got a leg to stand on, Angus.
>Sweden and Germany literally becoming Muslim shithole third world countries
>brexit a meme
It may sound like a meme, but if you look at the birth rate, Muslims are going to be a majority within 100 years
...
the difference is our refugees don't commit 1800+ rapes in rotherham or behead people in the streets, mohammed.
Brexit isn't a meme, you being Mexican soon is real.
See I don't see this as 350m to the NHS. If I have a quid in my pocket and decide I want to buy a Freddo, I don't have to spend the whole pound on it.
Sure mister water expert, we've been doing this for 500 years, i think we'll manage. In any case UK will be a caliphate by then.
...
So does that message say they'll spend the £350 million on the NHS? No, it doesn't.
It says the figure, then says 'let's fund our NHS instead'. That's not the same as saying the £350 million will be spent purely on the NHS.
It's definitely dodgy, but it's not a lie.
holy fuck the denial
do not reply to me
In German we have the saying: Haarspalterei.
This is "irreführend" and would be against the law here.
Because this: Is not allowed here. Clear statements have to be done.
>Mental Olympics
>and would be against the law here.
Haha what the fuck are talking about
de.wikipedia.org
This also accounts for political propaganda. Otherwise everyone would only fool around like in UK.
>t.Assravaged Remainer
You're Scottish and beyond hope.
You're not an EFL. It's clear to me and many other people, but Remain decided it would be great to put some spin on it. Same with the majority of the media favouring Remain.
Not quite correct chap.
The £350million for the NHS meme was championed by Boris Johnson on behalf of the ofiicial "Vote Leave" campaign. Nigel Farage has obviously long campaigned for the UK to leave the EU, however he was not part of the official "Vote Leave" campaign, because the mainstream politicians who ran "Vote Leave" did not want him involved, fearing he was two extreme of a politician, and would scare away moderates and labour voters.
well technically it doesn't mean lets take all of that and spend it elsewhere, although the first part does mention the number for effect it doesn't mean the second part will comply in totality with the first since the important part of the first is lets take that money back and the 350 is decoration
id rather eat burritos all day than get my hands cut off for stealing
You'll never know if we become a caliphate or not once we've built our 20foot walls. Brexit was only the start. You'll soon see, Mr Nielsen.
It doesn't need to mean ot directly.
But it clearly tries to catch the voter with a wild statements that never meant to be real.
>I cant read
You don't understand english.
That's not the case for said advertisement, you autist.
Regardless of how you interpret it is irrelevant. Nigel Farage categorically did not have any part in that slogan, he was not part of the official "Vote Leave" campaign.
political promises can seem different in different countries but yes, there is a clear misdirection and careful use of works in that slogan
Does it hurt to be this dumb? How does it feel to be in a world you don't understand ot even see.
Must be really a bliss to be an animal.
>the bus
>said
if you're unable to follow the instructions of a four word sentence then I doubt you were educated enough to vote,
sorry, just how it is, no denying it
Can you read english properly?
>well technically it doesn't mean
Well technically you are still wrong.
>hurr durr why are people pretending that safeguarding the independence of their country is more important than short term minor economic concerns here look at this graph
Cmon lad. Lets found our NHS instead.
> the instructions of a four word sentence
>do not reply to me
That's five words.
Fucking Scotland man. Actual subhumans.
>Mr Nielsen
Ahmed that isn't even a Dutch last name.
Well, America hasn't founded an NHS yet.
This "muh 500 trillion pounds for the NHS was a lie, how could people be so foolish" talking point is only ever brought up by brainwashed Labour voters and Bremainers who can't deal with the fact that the working people they claim to represent rejected their failed policies so forthrightly
In point of fact, the overwhelming majority of people who voted for Brexit didn't do so because of this campaign promise. Healthcare was not even remotely a priority issue among Brexit voters, especially compared to immigration or sovereignty; the only people excited about this promise would be lefties who didn't vote for Brexit in the first place
It's a media smear along the lines of "all of Britain is Googling 'what is the EU' only hours after the vote," when in reality less than 1000 people in a country of 50,000,000 did so.
It's absolutely incredible how many people will start regurgitating the same invalid arguments simply because they saw John Oliver and other members of the progressive media cartel make them on TV. Why is independent critical thinking so hard for people? Why are they so content to live in a bubble?
Bollocks the one Dutch guy I know has that name so figured I could use it.
So even if he didn't say these things the Offical leave campaign did. How is that any better?
It sounds worse if you ask me.
