Install gentoo.
Download the drivers from HP you dumb faggot.
Download drivers on another computer.
Save files to USB drive
Put USB drive into workstation
Install drivers.
that doesnt work "dumb fgt", only the recovery disks work, i swear dude i wouldnt ask Sup Forums if i ddnt try everything ... jesus
the new workstation come with a set of 2 discs, 1 for the os and 1 for the drivers, idc abt thje os disc, its the frivers one that is messin me up, even the sites drives wont work
Then tell HP the drivers on their site don't work so they can fix their shit.
The drivers may depend on having certain windows updates already installed. Get it up to date and try again.
tried that, shit pile hp knows that if you lose the disks ur pretty much screwed because they are selling them online for a 100 bucks each, ill keep searching i guess
Why not get the chipset drivers directly from intel?

tried it, the drivers from both hp and intel dnt work, once u install windows u have to install like 40 drivers, all those drivers can be downloaded from windows update except for the ethernet port number 2 and another one that i forgot, the only solution for this is having the recovery disks
how is this helping exactly
comic relief
guess when you ask the public, some will help some will just troll, gg ez
No one will take you serious outside /sqt/. Read the rules
dnt have the time or the luxury
Then don't complain when no one helps you
Learn to use google.
you're supposed to create recovery media. normally hp nags you about it too unless you click never notify again.
did you remove the recovery partition too? if it's still there you can still restore to factory settings. look in the boot settings.
thank you for trying but i told everyone that i tried the drivers from the site and they actually dnt work for the nic number 2...
i was supposed to, but i ddnt fml
Not the ones from the driver recovery image either?
did someone add a new card in there?
go to device manager, open up the non-working network card, then copy the pnp ID. should be under details, hardware ID
dude fuck me ur right
Also if OP caves in and install Windows 10, it pretty much have every relevant network driver built in.
There is only like three companies that make NICs.
Realtek, Intel, Qualcomm Atheros
Thank you guys for the help, i appreciate it
It's the year of GNU/Linux user.
