Kwin is shit. SHIT.
Ever noticed how slow the system settings window is? Try resizing it.
KDE 5 is okay after removing some of the included apps I don't like, and I use it on my modern hardware. For my old Core2 toasters I use Trinity as my DE, which is basically a KDE 3 fork with some slight improvements. I also recently (last year) started using KDE 1 on some of my really old machines and in a Debian VM, just for fun and nostalgia.

KDE feels like the kind of software that would automatically index my entire file system and publish it on the internet

Thanks for all the cuck porn.
I haven't used it long enough. After Ubuntu 16.04 gives out, I will try a distro with KDE.

Okular. The copy image or copy text is hard to beat.
Clementine amd Plasma desktop.
shit, ancient packages, broken dependencies, can't even install Calibre.
you might as well go with Manjaro if you want to try out a recent kde
how do you invert colors? the loonix driver for my laptop is bugged so it's always set at maximum brightness, which makes reading
kde has some really fucking annoying defaults, like that widget on the desktop or the single click to open on dolphin, which are easy to fix but inexcusable.
then there the clock which is fuckhuge and unfixable.
I have to give it credit for stability, customization, and the work to make it lightweight, but nothing beats xfce.
kde imitates windows too much, even in the bad things (clusterfuck of menus and options scattered all over instead of streamlined, organized and simple)

Enjoy you bloatware, OP.
Don't be a faggot, install i3.
With Okular 1.3.1 I can change to inverted easily via Settings > Configure Okular > Accessibility > Check Change colors, select mode. Invert works fine, looks like dark and light colors can also be customized but didn't really mess with it further.
is that a qt girl or a twink?
She's a KDE dev
Did you just assumed they gender?
The tail and all assorted parts of the mascot.
You're obviously trolling, but I have this crazy paranoia about KDE. Since it's a community driven project with so many fucking components, I'm guessing it's not too hard to insert a backdoor somewhere. Convince me otherwise Sup Forumsuys.

An2Linux worked way better in that aspect

I don't care much about most of the shit KDE ships with but krunner and dolphin have literally no competition
