A song about alcohol, with a somewhat melancholy tone, and a fatalistic perspective. Who's dick isn't hard from reading that?

Are you telling me this does nothing for you?

"Almost Persuaded"
one of those songs that sounds great no matter who's singing it although I'm partial to George Jones' version.

Wille's GOAT, no matter what era.

RIP Merle

Jason Aldean of course

>Jason Aldean
I'm actually not that familiar with modern country. Could you give us a sample of him?

it fucks me up Sup Forums

I can't finish the song 'cause all of the feels

Not same poster, but here one of his most popular songs

Why are there so few country threads on Sup Forums? With the exception of classical its easily the best genre.

Ughh sounds like the usual materialistic modern country-pop shit. Oh how this once great genre has fallen.

I think this and this answers your question.

Yea, pretty much. To me story telling has pretty much faded from all genre at this point. Although I do like Todd Snider, despite being pretty poppy he does tell fun stories.

BEST HIGHWAY SONG OF ALL TIME

Gotta love Jerry Reed

I actually like this a lot. I'll probably checkout more of his stuff. Its so hard to find a decent country singer nowadays that isn't a dinosaur, that just does covers, and that doesn't even make real country music.

Can someone explain the difference between Americana and Country?

Americana is just a name for music that incorporates elements of American roots music, like folk, country, blues, and rock and roll, but doesn't strictly fall into one of those genres.

Farewell transmission is the only country song that isnt complete shit, prove me wrong

>i listen to country and metal

Johnny Cash was a human bean
