Finally ditched Nova Launcher in favor Evie Launcher
What have you ditched recently Sup Forums and switched to in favor of it Sup Forums?

just use fucking Google now launcher or trebuchet faggot stop using these weird obscure custom ones, you will always have a bad time

Hey peter

Why are you being such a bitchy cunt boy?

Sell me on Evie.
I've been using nova for a while with no complaints. What made you switch, and is your life better now?

>Simpler
>Smoother
>Completely FREE
>Don't need to keep re-downloading and re-installing a cracked Nova Launcher Prime for my devices I have various
>Nova Launcher dev/devs are jewkikes and thus it rarely ever goes on sale except for around during Christmas
>Don't feel like I should have to cough up money for a fucking launcher nor do I want to since I'd rather just stick to rocking with a completely free product

I was a big fan of Nova Launcher for the longest time till I tried Evie again and Evie was improved much fucking better over time and now I love it and it has a Google Launcher feel to it with the scrolling letters sidebar but it's always had that since its early stages/early phases anyway

Plus, Evie is plain fast and smooth straight out of the box, unlike Nova, which on Nova you have to go to settings under its hood and change the scroll speed and animation speed under Settings > Look and Feel even with those two speed settings applied to the fastest Nova now still feels like a fucking snail fared to Evie just JESUS CHRIST man Nova just really started to suck a lot in my experience and in my eyes over time it just truly fucking sucks hard now

Been using Evie for two years now. It's so comfy. I have been looking at the pure android launchers recently, but I don't know if I'd want to switch over. Came from TouchWiz, switched between a few launchers and settled on Evie after a few months.

>TouchWiz
It's awesome. Nice and simple.

Can Evie hide clock from status bar on home screen only, manually change any icon and normalize icon size? If not it can fuck off.

Unfortunately, no, not yet. However, provide your feedback as wishlisted and wanted feature so that the may possibly probably implement it later down the line

Well, those are Nova's killer-features. If you weren't using them why were you using Nova in the first place? You'd be completely fine with any other launcher, like Apex or even your default launcher.

Check the privacy policy of the Evie dev team. Why is it free? Because they collect your info.

Lawnchair is funky but at least it is on F-Droid.

I'll give it a look, user. Thanks.

Because I was using Nova for the longest time and finally decided to give it another shot and another spin last night and so far it's been much better overall experience for me over Nova

And, also, I bought Apex a longass time ago, like, years ago, on one of my old Google accounts I no longer use nor access all that much anymore nowadays

And, that's bad, why, exactly? I'm not a big tinfoil autist that's overly concerned over a launcher collecting mere data from my phone and about me. I don't give a rat's ass over such a trivial thing

Then your opinion is worthless.

What about smart launcher 3? How does that hold up? Been giving it a test run, and aside from having ads it seems pretty neat.

I'm OP. I never gave Action Launcher a try/a spin

Switched from Evie to KISS. I find the minimalism to be spectacular.

I also use Evie, is there any fucking way to hide that hideous search bar?

A million times this. It's the reason I installed Evie in the first place. I kept it because even though I couldn't hide the search bar, I could hide apps and do a bit more stuff, which is very useful.

Ditched Google for Searx.

I recall being able to, but it has been a while.

Best FLOSS launcher?

KISS and Open Launcher. You could go T-UI or Hayai if you want something different.

What's a launcher without a fucking app drawer.

I used to use Apex. These days I have no gapps, so I get everything from f-droid. OpenLauncher is decent. Fairly customizable, has gesture support.

Evie has an app drawer.

Thank you.

Apex can do the manual icon change thing.

>without

Oh, I misread your post. I read it like "Is it even a launcher without an app drawer"

You could try KISS. It is all search-based aside from your favorites bar. You CAN get into an app drawer by hitting the circle, but you aren't swiping into it or anything.
