I don't know if this even works, but maybe if you use another PC to install an OS to HDD, then setup some SSH or other connection to autostart. You could plug the HDD back to it and it will have a running OS which you can control remotely. Unless even that requires at least some GPU.

If you need video playback and all that, try a GT 210/710, used theyre cheap as dicks
if you dont even need that, get one of those radeon HD 3450's that are all over ebay for under 4 dollars, get a dms-59 to vga adapter
