thanks alot dude

Oh yes all these Terabytes

I'm getting a 5 TB external tomorrow so I can reach my final form

Attached: ryzen.jpg (3840x2160, 904K)

it just works

Attached: specs.png (646x542, 25K)

I have a 4tb external too that I connect sometimes

>seagate

This 1.5 TB was "external" once but its full
You can get 5 TB 2.5 inch for 130 € nowadays
Great times the 1.5 one was more expensive in 2012

AMD housefire edition

I almost bought a 10 TB WD Red because its more silent but Seagate decided to send me a 6 TB Ironwolf for free (Mindfactory product testing).

Its not loud at all. And amazingly fast.

For the external one, WD doesn't offer more than 4 TB, their external drives don't have a SATA port. Seagates do have one. If your case ever fails you can still access the data and use them internally.

Can't go wrong with free, even if it is seagate

>free 6tb
you have no idea how much i wish i was you right now

I've never had any drive fail on me except a Samsung one (Firmware bug).

These one cost 170 €, saved me 300 € I have for my Zen upgrade, I'll proably buy even bigger ones. Seagate announced 20 TB hard drives until 2020. ALL my movies on ONE drive.

Attached: Unbenannt.jpg (606x550, 72K)

wtf is this

Yes, and I sent my registration just a few minutes before it ended. But I have to write at least 1000 words review.

sounds tough. I myself have a 250 word essay due tomorrow

How the heck do you write a 1000 word essay on a hard drive?

what's wrong with home

Attached: chief.png (549x518, 721K)

Wheres the problem? Of course they'll use it to advertise their HDDs. I'll compare it to my older drives, especialyl the 4 TB.

The only reason to buy a WD currently would be the noise, 20 to 28 db. I don't hear anything of it under my bed.

I've always wondered why it seems that nearly every driver package defaults digital connections (display port, hdmi, DVI) to 59hz. Why not 60?
Every time my intel GPU driver is updated it reverts everything back to 59hz, but VGA connections are left at 60/75 or whatever they were.

had to remove my Intel GPU undervolt, had instabilities

Attached: Dull.png (1920x1080, 2.3M)

My PC specs

>1000 words on hdd
i mean i have a lot i can compare it to, including 3.5" ide drives so i do think i could push 2000 even if it sounds stupid

Its not hard, just write about prices, noise, speeds, temperatures. Basically the same thing professional reviews write about.

Anyone with an X79 platform where they upgraded from a Sandybridge-E to an Ivybridge-E? Was the jump from PCIE2 to PCIE3 worth it? Contemplating swapping my 3930k for a 4930k should I be able to buy/sell without too much loss.

Why do people use this outdated program still

>not overclocking all your monitors

Attached: file.png (719x636, 40K)

what should we use then

Attached: Capture.png (810x533, 49K)

How? I tried even 61 Hz doesn't work XB280HK Displayport 1.2

I can't overclock my 4k asus monitor either but can overclock my others might just be displayport 1.2 limitations

>MissyVixen @ Furnet

Attached: speccc.png (1280x1024, 503K)

Totally pointless. Get a high core count Ivy Bridge-EP instead. I did something similar, had Haswell-E and made the jump to a 20 core Broadwell-EP. I can actually feel the difference. 3930k vs 4930k is like nothing.

I pirated Windows so I did not feed The Nose, also Chrome is my GF's browser, I use Waterfox.

How's this?

If anyone wants I can put up a shot of the internals.

>I pirated Windows
Who doesn't?

You didn't even pirate the right one, use enterprise you candy ass.

need more fans and a decent cable management for better temps, a 144hz monitor, a rx580 if I find one at reasonable price and a new hd because this seagate will probaby shit itself pretty soon.

Attached: 1502871882489.png (793x709, 45K)

those temps look pretty good to me

Is speccy reliable for reading cpu temps? My CPU hoves only around 40 degrees while playing vidya, on stock intel fan.

mostly, yea. but i suggest hwinfo64 instead.

Post wallpaper ?

Well it shows similar temps. Thanks.

That's a pair of balls.

>kabylake i5

It doesn't respect group policies at all and gives you even less control over updates than Pro.

user, what made you think a Cuck Lake i5 was a good idea?

stop lying

Best for my budget at the time, couldn't afford to get i7.

I would assume that with a Xeon and a PCI 3.0 x4 card he would be using it for passthrough
That's obviously not the case considering this is a speccy thread.

post wallpaper OP

How much clock do these X299 processors give?

wheres the problem, if he doesn't game, a bigger gpu would be a waste

don't get anything of that, ryzen is probably cheaper

X79 and x99 boards are worth a lot

>there are still people with "gaming" pcs that think 16 GiB RAM is "enough"

Attached: Untitled.png (916x948, 77K)

Attached: SpeccyThread.jpg (2236x1426, 1.07M)

I was gaming just fine on 8GB before I upgraded.

Besides, RAM prices are out of control right now. It's cheaper to roll with 16GB for now and just add another 16GB later.

Attached: desktopandspeccy.jpg (1920x1080, 413K)

What are you raiding there? No GPU? The 8700K doesn't have many lanes...
8 GB still work well. I'm running my main machine on 12 GB Triple channel now, my secondary one on 8, no difference. Choosing a quadcore with 16 GB RAM would be slower than octacore with 8 GB. I'll buy more RAM whenever the prices become affordable.

Your system will use 32 GB for a game if you had just enough, it doesn't mean you need it.

RAID is two HGST HE8 8TB drives.
GTX 1080 in system.
8700k has enough lanes for two GPUs.

Oh I see, I first thought these almost 3 GB/s were write speed. I own 960 EVOs myself and this is impossible with one NVMe device. So I thought you had two NVMe drives.

Only in 8x mode.

The disk mark is from my 960 PRO SSD.

sauce plz.
