I'm really happy with the FC980C I posted a while back, love using it still. favorite keyboard by far

and I love you

i don't get your reference op
is it because some user on the last thread was arguing about putting your money in a bank isntead of keyboards?

Attached: crop-IMG_7609.jpg (2592x1728, 2.36M)

The 4704 model F was made by IBM exclusively for banks, hence I thought it was a good reference

Sorry you're still wagecucking well into your 30s user

Move along Zealios shits, real man's switch coming the fuck through.

Attached: BOX Royal Switch.jpg (3024x4032, 864K)

Look at this moving fucking force graph, Zeal and his overpriced switches BTFO.

Attached: BOX Royal Force Graph.png (1452x1130, 241K)

unicomp has a model M with trackball, It's actually really fucking comfy to use.

Now where's the real force graph?

What is this supposed to feel like?

when the samples arrive at input club

Novelkeys sent their switches to Input Club to measure, but I have a feeling the results will be just as impressive over there, unlike the total fuck-up that was Hako switches.

>press buckling spring in, and the sound/bump is exactly the moment that the key actuates
What the fuck is the point of any other key switch if it can't do this? (talking about clickies and tactiles)

So is this another clicky switch like the jade/navy? Or is it just tactile? Nothing really comes up when I search for 'kailh box royal'.

tactile

it's designed to blow zeal's lazy ass out of the water

Announcement was on
reddit inb4 you need to go back
.

Is it bad that I want these just because they are purple?

Neat. Any pics showing off exactly how that tactile bump is done?

They'll eventually be on sale on novelkeys & other places right?

>Any pics
He posted these in the reddit thread: imgur.com/a/9vzDB
>on sale
Yeah, he said production would start in may and he'd be selling to other places.

corsair hate edition

Attached: plastic gun.jpg (4032x3024, 2.67M)

those keycaps don't really look all that good on a black keyboard

The guy said they'd be exclusive to Novelkeys at first.

Attached: Comb19032018074345.jpg (640x1708, 67K)

I have a white one in the mail.

floating caps dont look good period
worst meme since 40%

Guess I'll be picking some of these up in a few months then.

40% great fuck off
Also crosair is trash for having non standard spacebars.

>Pressure point over 70gf
>Also higher than bottom-out force
No thank you.

im building a keyboard with semi floating keycaps, will you approve?

No.

>tfw I paid money for paperware

Attached: DSC_8502.jpg (2818x2456, 174K)

what's that, user? See them around but don't know a name

It a chines model F clone

w-w-why? they look very cute u will see

I'm not going to help your SEO you jewish cia nigger

>>Also higher than bottom-out force

You do realize that having an actuation force over the bottom-out force is the Holy Grail of tactility, right?

Consider not wasting that money.

in the modern parlance a tactile switche is a linear switch with sand glued to the slider

Only for Redditors who bottom-out like the knuckle-dragging retards they are.

I own a memeforce.

The problem with the memeforce is that you can't use modifiers like the Alt key in conjunction with the FN key, so I can't use Ctrl + Alt + F2 to access terminal in Linux.

Is anyone here aware of a solution to this problem?

Attached: memeforce.jpg (1037x775, 232K)

yeah, you don't buy shit keyboards

(You)

I only buy hhkb. I feel sorry for cherry plebs.

savage

let me upyou

LOL
Chink shit lovers are fuming right now. Should’ve bought a superior Japanese keyboard instead

map it to alt + t
who the fuck presses 3 buttons for a shortcut

not even remotely rustled kid. just patiently waiting for an adult to read my post.

Do you know of a program like that for Windows 10?

Attached: foreign quality.jpg (2200x1467, 671K)

No. I'd really like to know.

Post your timestamped man titties and ill tell you how

best compact mechnical keyboard with a numpad
>no gay rgbs need
>good key layout
>solid keys not wabble, tactile / good feedback switches preferred (normally go with the blue switches)

>compact
>numpad
Leopold FC980 layout
>solid keys not wobble
>tactile
Topre version

If it exists it's likely proprietary spyware trash

>buy Model M keyboard
>best keyboard ever used
>mom says it's too loud at night
what is another keyboard i can buy that is good but not as loud?

Attached: 45h62g.jpg (1168x1080, 207K)

Topre.

Matias quiet pro.

put strips of fluffy dental floss in the springs of your Model M to somewhat dampen the noise.

How long have you used those caps? I'm still afraid mine are going to shine, so I've kept it in the box this whole time.

It's an old pic, my WASD and 1234 keys are all starting to shine. I'm not planning on reselling them so it's NBD.

umm what are you a child. $100-150 is justifiable to most normies for a mechanical keyboard. you don't have to tell them you bought the keycaps separately from the board. and the artisan is wtf even to /mkg/ autists. $300 is a serious amount of dosh and you'll have a different view of money when you get older.

>Please hate what you can't have, faggots.
i hope you're not bragging about your keeb to your family and friends. that's "i can fit my whole fist into my mouth" tier. people don't care. maybe it spawns a conversation if you bring it to work and they see the childish colors but yeah.

Im thinking about getting the velocifire vm01

If you want a tenkeyless version of that try the TKL78. Its like 10 dollars cheaper.

>being a keyboardlet
Absolutely pathetic

Go to bed/move out of the house

Exactly. Using anything but black/grey/monochrome non-backlit keycaps in an office environment is utter manchild-tier

Most people at my workplace have lightshow corsair/razer keyboards on their desk. No one cares.

what a shitty office environment. do you actually work in office, tho? because irl no one really cares

don't slam your keys like a monkey

KBD75

time to learn how to solder i guess

thanks senpai

>Preferred switch type: brown
sad

feel free to recommend something good and quiet that won't fuck my bank up

only typed on blues/browns before

chink board with blacks

Then get a buckling spring. Having a peak force above the bottom out means you go straight to bottoming out on a cherry style switch as you overcome the bump. And there's nothing at the bottom of a cherry switch aside from the pcb/plate, so your finger is absorbing the shock. The spring should be catching you after actuation, when you overcome the peak.

On the other hand, if you can somehow press down 2~3mm consistently then you don't need a tactile switch at all.

I really like browns, I used to like blue but after using brown switches for a while switching back just feels too heavy. I'm pretty accurate so I don't really need the extra weight. That said I appear to type fastest on romer-g switches of all things. I'd buy a 60% romer-g board in a heartbeat.

what keys dont ever shine

thought?

Attached: MA87V2.jpg (1024x1024, 125K)

IBM PBT

PBT, my Model F is over 30 years old and the keycaps have no shine.

That's not how you use that unfunny meme

People need to stop falling for the 60% meme. 75% is where it's at.

>TKL
woah
never seen that before
how exciting

you are not allowed to buy another keyboard, this is communist board we bully you if your keyboard count surpasses 1

do laptop keyboards count, or are those separate from desktop keyboards?

mmmmmm

i need to speak with the round table to determine this new paradigm i don't want to be unjust towards an Innocent peasant like you, In the mean time just giv me your laptop will giv back when resolution is out

u sure? it's an old dell from 2008 with a broken screen. I barely use it anymore. Post your PO box and I'll ship it to you

>YAHOOO
