ABSOLUTE LOLOLCAUST!

?

I don't know how to say this mate but this is really old news by now.

Uh, where have you been?

>pushing the knife (and it's a Bowie) even deeper
>twisting it

These are new price cuts, you dumb fucks. Not those they did at CES. This are NEW, further ones.
At CES Threadripper wasn't cut, this time around it did. And big.

dont worry, intel will be fine if they do what they always do
throw in 2 more cores and add $1500 to the price tag

Attached: Ovens-in-the-Auschwitz-crematorium.jpg (600x450, 92K)

Uh no sweety, why upload that outdated shit

Attached: intelwins.png (682x422, 50K)

>why
To make AMD look better, do you even have to ask?

Um no sweaty.

Where is 1600 ???

I want to shitpost pretending to be an Indian, but I don't want to clog this board further.

>Pricecutting their best-seller

Attached: Inturd oven.jpg (800x531, 53K)

Prices, faggot. Learn 'em.

>8010$ VS 870$
>Closest is 926$
>Intel wins!!!11

>muh price/performance
poor epyc

Attached: ripepyc.png (697x954, 148K)

I will never buy intaids again.

So $56 cheaper than Intel, or $570 cheaper than Intel if we want ECC.

If the boards weren't so expensive I would buy a TR1950X. Its so damn cheap! Considering Intels prices. But I don't really have any use for it, so I bought a Ryzen 1700, which is more than suitable for home H265 encoding.

Two eightcore PCs are still cheaper than TR with board. And probably more efficient, one energy saving 24/7 renderer, one highly OCd gaming / editing rig.

How is the performance with meltdown patch?

Attached: 1516989205051.webm (640x640, 1.05M)

Best case scenario as reported by intel: 82% performance left. Some as bad as 76% or worse.

>RAM is still fucking outrageous
fugg

Attached: 1507579087801.gif (300x275, 1.37M)

Is this single core performance?

>1950X was 999$ before
intelaviv get fucked by cheap, 'glued together' dies. let that sink in.
whats the price/perfomance ratio now?

Attached: lisa_su_pepe.png (1000x1000, 386K)

Did the price difference between 4S boards and 2S boards stop existing while I wasn't paying attention?
Probably not, huh.

>18 - 24% performance loss
Jesus

>82% performance left. Some as bad as 76% or worse.
DELIDD 'DIS RIGHT NOW, ANTISEMITE!

Attached: t.JUSTnich.png (1002x1480, 1.25M)

It's a disaster, all Xeons are pretty much already being replaced by Zen.

it wont stop, muh shartphones NEED 8gig of RAM. Samsung wont do shit until 2020 earliest with their new fab. Datacenters also ramp up cause new EBYN need/can hold so much RAM. the ride never ends

>global
Bullshit, the 1700x started at $465 USD here and only dropped to $380 USD this month because the 8700K is $380 USD here and has been in stock with bundles so often it wipes the floor with Ryzen in pricing.

>techpowerup.com/242517/amd-trims-prices-of-current-gen-ryzen-processors
it was lower in price before the fake security problems came out. I bought one 130 cheaper.

>TFW its 260 € here
>1700 is 255 €

Threadripper was 26k before, now is 22k.
What's the explanation?

Gee, it's almost like you didn't even try any

Attached: Golden Inturd.jpg (1428x2160, 1.17M)

MOOOOAAAARRRR

>Some as bad as -76%
It's actually up to -52% in cloud. Inturd's """reports""" are literal fucking BEST case scenarios and utter fucking damage control all the way.

>the 1700x started at $465 USD
No one said anything about your retarded POS local stores artificially inflating. These are official MSRPs.

Just because MicroCenter dumps, doesn't man jack shit because it's only MicroCenter and that's it. These cuts, however, are across the globe.

>old CPU-Z bench versus """new"""

>8700K is

Attached: Relevance 080.jpg (2560x668, 724K)

>if we want ECC
Entire Zen system supports ECC straight out of the box. RyZen, THREADRIPPER, all of it.

EPYC btfo by Threadripper.
AMD is dead and finished

Attached: Intbecile Inside.gif (438x403, 15K)

depends entirely on workload
consumer loads its sub 5% at most
normal server loads its around 17%
some edge cases for server its little over 70% performance hit.

who is this??

just to state a fact, the 1700x was 380$ msrp at launch, the 1800x was 499$ msrp at launch with the 1700 being I think 320 or 340 I honestly forget what I paid.

Only for burgerland. Even now even amazon JP has the Ryzens way over those prices.

Larkin love

>Only for burgerland.
Nah. I'm in GLORIOUS Mother Russia, which bases it's prices mostly off of European import (thus counts from Euro, not $), and our prices never were above ~25$ (VAT expenses and importing fees) equivalent over MSRP, most often than not even cheaper due to relevance/popularity factors.

whore

many thanks, user!

>muh price/performance
what do you mean? is this a price/performance chart? i cant find what benchmark that is.
looks super fishy, please provide source to enlighten me.

How is the 10 core 7900X @ 3.30GHz faster than the 1950X with an all core turbo of 3.4GHz? Skylake-X IPC is less than 10% higher than Ryzen on average. And why did Ryzen's score drop so much?

Is PassMark just fake like Geekbench? Wow.

The OP pic is legit, the and are baked up shit.

New benchmark since AMD was winning.

When I google 1950X Passmark, I do get a 22k score for it and the 7900X.

It looks like Passmark changed their scoring to rig it for Intel. Everyone knows a 7900X isn't remotely near the performance of the 1950X in anything except some fucking games.

Well that's another site to block.

>It looks like Passmark changed their scoring
See .

Well yeah, the new generation is coming. Need to cut prices to clear old stock.

>1950X
>barely a year
>old

>26350 points
>22104 points
OYYYYY VEYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

>passmark

>normal server loads its around 17%
That's pretty significant, just not for Sup Forums

oh no shit it's still significant, however ist nowhere near worst case scenario for most cases

I think game servers got hit the hardest, at least of people willing to talk about it.

>baked up shit
why don't you take a look at the website retard. it's only few seconds away.

Passmark is CPU-Z?

>Comparing 16-core Epyc to 18-core Xeon
You've gone full retard.

>yet, it's two more coars but still miles ahead and cheaper than epyc.
