What are your thoughts on it?
Is it worth it?
Are there any alternates?
Pros and cons?
Spotify
My thoughts are I have a job and can afford to pay the cost of a CD (ish) every month for access to thousands of CDs.
>b-but muh botnet
Couldn't give a shit.
Why the fuck do people us Spotify when you could just use Apple Music? If you have an apple device it's easy as hell to get AND allows you to download pretty much every song on iTunes
because we're not gay
This. Apple soybean
It's really great. I got the multipass so me, wifey, and senpai each get to use it.
Lul'd at the wordfilter.
>iTunes
This is the exact reason why I would never use Apple Music, or any mobile Apple device again. iTunes is just such a rotting piece of garbage. An absolute fucking cancer of a program.
how much extra is multipass
It costs 1.5 normal account. Pretty hot shit of a deal. They must know forcing people to have low quality audio and ads is a shitty experience so they're being like Netflix and Amazon and generous with sharing.
Oh, to clarify, the low quality and ads was on the free streams versus the paid multipass.
love it on my phone honestly and built in lastfm support is great
>ADURR HURR JUST USE APPLE MUSIIICC
>have to use ITUNES to use it
>no in-browser options
>not even cross platform
here's your (You)
It werks fine on my gentoo install. Completely ad-free with a few lines in the hosts file.
>Not using hacked Spotify
It's pretty gucci senpai.
Been a premium user ever since it first came out. Never looked back.
If you pay for spotify you can download whatever you want and it's as easy as apple music?
Mark of someone who spouts shit. None of the hacks work anymore.
Soulseek if you're willing to actually download your music before
>want to listen to my songs on another PC
>Literally have to download iTunes
Compared to even fucking Tidal that does have a web player
> itunes
>He doesn't know about iHackedit
I pirate till there is a DSD Streaming Service
Cuck
>If you have an apple device
I don't have an apple device. I haven't used iTunes for at least a decade, and I presume it's still shit?
you can hack the shit out of it with scripting. Look up their APIs to see what can be done. Beats everyone else in this regard.
At first I thought $12.99 (AUD) monthly was expensive but it's approximately $0.43 AUD a day and I use it ~15-60 minutes per day so well worth it. Also no hassle of going through streaming sites, downloading potential malware etc.
Why the fuck would people use Apple music when you could just use Spotify? If you have any device including apple it's easy as hell to get AND allows you to download pretty much every song in the catalog
Holy fucking shit at paying for music in 2018 , I haven't paid for music since the fucking 90s.
Your money adds up , 5 or 10 dollars a month adds up. Bitch I get the toppest qualityest best formats full albums even the video just using the freedom of the internet. Learn to pirate ass fucks.
Commercials LOL.
I understand the piracy argument as I've never payed for anything digital but the discovery features in spotify are worth the money alone
It's an SSD killer.
Is there an app or something to this website Sup Forums? I recently discovered it and it seems like some chinese site filled with so many songs
muxiv. com/en
For mobile 10 bucks a month is not worth for basically just a better interface and youtube already has good libraries of music.
what mp3 do you use?
Equalizer is hot garbage on mobile. Also, the PS4 app is shit too as far as audio quality is concerned but Ill keep paying for that garbage
I dont see a point of it, maybe like 5% of stuff I listen to is there.
modded apk still works for me, if it didnt anymore id switch to mp3s or something
How so?
>mfw using Apple music because it just werks
>thoughts
it's one of the worst DRM offenders
defectivebydesign.org
stallman.org
>worth it
never support them with a single shekel, even if you can afford it
>alternates
-bring your music with you
-steam your own music using mpd+client app (some mobiles mpd clients can both control AND "play" music) or cherrymusic
-deezer (not much better, rather "less bad")
Spotify Blue works perfectly
only gripe i have with it is that you can't upload your own songs if they aren't in their library. other than that it's great. you don't need it if you only listen to music in front of your PC though.
I'd rather use bandcamp and actively support artists that I like.
>ogg vorbis in a shitwrap of drm-pupu
fuck spotify, seriously
Thanks user! That's what I thought
shitty sound quality desu
Somebody here uses the ihackit spotify?
>Is it worth it?
no, just pirate the mod apks
>Are there any alternates?
no
>Pros and cons?
don't give a shit
just werks
Got any mod apk names mate? I can't find any, tons of them have been taken down
mobilism forum
root, install adaway / update hosts just to be sure
then install the apk
Thanks, I'll check it out.
Ffs, I've reposted this in like 3 Spotify threads now
boards.libre.io
Alternatively set up a server with Ampache and use one of the dozen backends it supports to stream to your apps.
That doesn't allow me to discover new music or automatically get new albums from artists as they release.
Thx bro made new dummy acc and she works golden
All I want is high quality drum and bass with no ads or DJs shitting up the stream talking over the top (hi bass drive!)
Spotify/Apple music etc have pathetic offerings.
>Tfw I will never get a deepbass9 invite
>be me
>at university
>love music
>making minimum wage at burger king
>spending 10-15% of my already low income on cds
>friends use spotify
>wat dat
>make a free account
>HOLY SHIT THERES SO MUCH FUCKING MUSIC
>listen to for a few weeks
>find out that i can download music if i go pro
>expecting it to be £30-45
>fuck me sideways its only £10 a month
>currently spend 3 times that a week
>about to pay for a subscription
>friend tells me i can get student discount for 50% off
>mfw
>-deezer (not much better, rather "less bad")
elaborate
Come back when you've matured a bit.
No.
That was fixed like 8 months ago.
Are you people moralfags or simply retarded?
>be moi, an intelectual neet
>use moms credit card for free trial
>hop from email to email for 12 months on free trial
shit was literally so cash until they started doing background checks for any card
Pretty ok service. Sometimes I use the free version on my laptop with hosts based adblocking.
I'm not going to pay for music or listen to ads though.
Most often I listen to SoundCloud, YouTube or local files downloaded from various sources.
