Ubuntu, Mint, Debian

PCLinuxOS, preinstalled with WINE and all the codecs. Noob friendly af.
Ubuntu is a good distro for learning GNU/Linux.
Mint
>dual boot

What do you want to use it for?
Unironically, solus.

Is Arch a good distro to setup and learn?
Gentoo
then try Arch for a laugh
then grow up and install Debian
This, but it's disgusting. If you have good taste, go for Debian.

mint but there isnt really much to learn desu ... if you can move your mouse in windows you can move your mouse in linux
Linux from scratch or gentoo
>recommend to me a good distro to start learning linux on?
Xubuntu or Kubuntu
>I plan to dual boot with Windows 10
just run it in a VM until you are sure you actually want to keep it.
Either Manjaro Linux or Antergos Linux.
If you don't need a working system immediately, it's a beautiful distribution. Beware that it takes quite a bit of learning and patience, however.
I recommend Solus (Budgie), Manjaro (KDE), or Antergos (KDE).
Thanks
Qubes and just make a windows hvm
Ububtu desu
Are 99% of these redundant, copy paste tier, recycled, tired old threads on Sup Forums posted by one persistent asshole intent on indoctrinating everyone into referring to GNU/Linux as Linux?
Because as you should well know by now, what you’re referring to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.
Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called “Linux”, and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project. There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use.
Linux is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine’s resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called “Linux” distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux.
No. It was actually a bot in the past, but now just shitposting. The sauce came from going linux podcast from a guy named "Richard".
Ubuntu MATE
mint is pretty great and retardedly easy
nice try rms, but i'm calling it linux since the 90s like every sane person
this
JNU/Linux
I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as GNU/Linux, is in fact, JNU/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, JNU plus Linux. It's pronounced JNU as in GNIF.
>eComStation
What the hell is that?
Mint is probably best for beginners, maybe fedora with it's fancy gui. It wont scare you off at least. You're going to get different responses depending on what most larders have been using for years on end with simple minded OS purity.. Either way do it in a virtual machine don't dualboot.
...
MY EYES!!!!!
>dual boot with windows 10
why?
