SWANS - THE GLOWING MAN -- 'SEARCH FOR THE LAST TWO TRACKS'

Alright, so...

The first six tracks are out in 320kbps. Check the archive if you want the MEGA link. Now we're on the hunt for the last two tracks: "The Glowing Man", and "Finally, Peace."

Since the last Swans thread is nearing the bump limit, I figure make a neater thread for the sake of compiling our reactions to the album so far should you be the kind of person willing to listen to an incomplete album, along with devoting our attention to finding the last two tracks.

Someone convince the guy on What.CD who has both tracks otherwise we won't have the full album until next week.

sure, just send me an e-vite, I'll convince him.

sent ;)

The Glowing Man played on BBC radio last month. It should be out there

That was just snippet. A longer snippet than the one on youtube but still a snippet.

the track has half an hour, BBC played like 4mins

That was an excerpt.

I straight up refuse to even discuss this album until I've listened to it first.

You won't find it until I'm done with their discography. I'm currently at Soundtracks for the Blind so it shouldn't take long.

Anyone have a link to that excerpt? It's different form the one posted on youtube

I'm gonna do the smart thing and openly assume that What.CD dude was lying about his possession of those files. If someone's gonna lord a leak over anyone's head, chances are they don't even have said leak. Such is the law of Sup Forums and What.CD.

communism will win comrade corbyn

why dont u just wait for the album to come out for real

Im checking my e mail and it's not there. wtf! you lie!

shhh... do not spoil the fun

dude...

>mfw it's their best album to date

Life's short my man

What's the point of waiting? Why test patience when you can just have what you want once it's started to surface? Life is short.

yeah dude, I mean, life is short why bother bro

>Sorry, this episode is not currently available on BBC iPlayer Radio

It got expired apparently. It was working a few days ago. You can still listen to a shorter version down below just scroll down a little.

A 30 second excerpt of a 4 minute excerpt. Meh

no its the guy who originally leaked the files
trust me he really has it, but only offers it to elite members

its on slsk tagged as radio edit, or you can click on that song in the description of the bbc programme and look in which other programmes it was played

Someone post the mega

I'm gonna go to sleep (eurofag). Whats the chance that amerifags leak it before I wake up?

Swans - The Glowing Man (6-track version)
>drone, noise rock, experimental
mega.nz/#F!9EozERYY!2ueobGEMS0qZNf59sZc0RA

It all depends upon the What.CD member withholding the tracks in wait for an elite member to talk to them. So it could literally be whenever.

>tfw elites are probably too patrician to care for Swans

stop calling rock music that doesn't have a clarified outline for the composition or play "experimental"
words and ideas have fucking definitions and im tired of you teenage pieces of shit clinging on to fashionable labels and aesthetics. what at all is experimental in the least about swans? the most you can argue is that it is avant-garde.

ty senpai

thx for clearing that up

xo

They're already shipping the cd/vinyl so it will very likely leak before the week is over.

Thank you very much my man

holy shit

Someone, somewhere has the entire album and they are being StinGY fuCKers

it's not avant-garde it's post-rock mixed with tribal ambient

This sounds so fucking good! THE FUUUUCK

Anyone notice this is different than the one they posted on youtube?

The vocals and everything come in way sooner, in fact Gira's vocals never come in on this youtube version, but they both seem to start at the same part when the beat drops. Is the youtube version actually edited, and not what's on the album? Or maybe the song calms down again after the youtube clip, and picks up again at the other clip?

Fuck all of you guys
>B-b-but I might buy the record later
No you won't. The band put a ton if work and their own money into making this art, and you couldn't care less. It's nothing more than another entitlement to you.

Except I fucking will? I've already bought signed copies of the last two swans records as well as two Angels of Light records. I'll definitely buy this one too, but I also want to listen to it as soon as possible, so fuck off.

>No you won't.

You don't fucking know me. I bought TBK.

I'll go see them on tour and pay triple what the record costs. Gira will be raping my wallet, do not fret user

they lose ZERO money on me. i won't be able to buy music until i graduate. the alternative for me is to just listen to music on youtube. im from the middle east so what costs "a couple of bucks" for you is a good chunk from my shitty part time job that pays me in a weak ass currency.

also they make most of their money on shows/concerts/gigs/whatever-you-call-it.

fuck you I listened to the leak and I just bought it

>im from the middle east

seriously?? that's pretty wild that someone from there would be on Sup Forums.

not sure if sarcastic. come to Sup Forums we have middle east generals there all the time. turkey+israel alone have tons of 4chaners

I honestly DO, though. I've made a ritual of pirating the album, then going and seeing them live and buying it after and saying hello to Gira. I've done this 3 times now.

are you a poopy puffer?

I'm downloading illegally.I don't give a fuck.

Michael Gira should pay me for sitting there and listening to his 2-hour records. Ungrateful, senile old piece of shit.

Except I pre-ordered the day it was available, along with buying the Filth 3CD.
