Solo project that evolved into a 5 piece band from Orlando FL

Have previously collaborated with Polysemy and Foliage

If you're playing a show near the Orlando area hit us up. We're always looking for bands to play with.

>Shoegaze,Dreampop,Post-Punk

Working on 5 song EP consisting of new versions of the demos we have and a couple new songs.

>Where's The Humanity?
>Ambient, Chillwave, Field Recordings, Hypnagogic Pop, Lo-fi, Musique Concrete, Noise, Progressive Electronic, Synthpop, Vaporwave.

Including collaborative efforts from:
MC469, Windowlistener, Jaryk, Even Oxen, Tidepools, Dear Laika, Pleasance House, Lonely Ghost, as well as some other friends of mine.

The album was initially moved from May 10th to June 7th. However, some components of the album have yet to be finished. So the album has been moved to June 21st for now. However, I would like to give people a glance at the album, as I already have half of it finished, so I will set up the album for pre-order, with the first track available for listening.

Support, scrobble, or review on RYM. Any feedback of any kind would be greatly appreciated. Thank You. :)

Proud Supporter Of:

surprised I haven't checked this out already, the arrangements on this are really tight

I actually like Foliage, abazoo.

petalportmusic.bandcamp.com/album/eye-contact

We recently played a show in Sacramento mostly playing songs from Eye Contact and the crowd went nuts for the stuff, so maybe you'll like it too?

Finishing up the recording for the next Larksburg album this week. It was initially recorded late 2015 early 2016, we still have to do some drums and vocals. Slight lineup change, major sound change, as per usual with Larksburg albums. Not sure when it will be out. In the demo process for the following album that'll be out in 2017.

i found the goods!

here

i like your sense of composition a whole lot, nice. read up on EQing and compression if you are unfamiliar though, these sounds feel very flat and dont not sit well in their mix
love the guitars on this one, nice lead melodies. everything sounds like it was recorded nice, and vocals are up front! ssome people are afraid to do that it seems and its a shame cos i wanna hear ur pretty voice. like it when you get screamy
i felt nothing listening to this. at least with noise music theres interesting and engagin textures and stuff to sink your teeth into. maybe its out of my taste honestly. fwiw it sounds well produced
hey FL rep. you remind me of another florida band deridada. saw them live one time they were rad. i like this though its a bit out of my listening area. thinmk the drums are a good addition

That clicking is very distracting

ingrown.bandcamp.com/album/lately-sprung-up-in-appalachia

>love the guitars on this one, nice lead melodies. everything sounds like it was recorded nice, and vocals are up front! ssome people are afraid to do that it seems and its a shame cos i wanna hear ur pretty voice. like it when you get screamy
Hey thanks for listening. Yeah, I'm pretty happy with the vocals on Eye Contact and I'm glad you like them too. The album went through lots of varying mixes but the final version couldn't be better. Even though the next two Larksburg albums are going to be pretty different to Eye Contact, I think if you like Eye Contact you'll like them too.

>hey FL rep. you remind me of another florida band deridada. saw them live one time they were rad. i like this though its a bit out of my listening area. thinmk the drums are a good addition

Texas? Nice, quite a bit of us in the Houston area so that would be cool to see. I'd definitely be there if you came by. Best of luck to you two, keep pushing out that sweet jangle/dream pop

ill upload it tonight and send you a mega. theres two clips it seems, one of like a minute of soundcheck or something, and then eleven minutes of goodbye mondrian. stopped halfway through the piece so i could actually watch it

ty ty. much appreciated!

While we wait for others to post their projects, can we have a discussion about what everyone's goals/plans are at the moment? What's next on the agenda for you?

oliverwoods.bandcamp.com
>Acoustic / Folk

I usually wouldn't listen to this kind of music but this is actually pretty good. Also fantastic album art

idk if I'd call this punk but it's pretty good. Production is in that sweet spot of not too raw not too clean. You'll have no problem finding an audience ever.

Hall of fame

nathanforsythmusic.bandcamp.com/album/gadget

>'Gadget' is an ambient project.
My hopes are that someone will take the plunge and meditate on a heroic dose to this one day.

>Nevertheless, it's intended to promote introspection. Hope y'all can find a minute to digest it

Is the tascam you recorded with analog? What was the process like?

It's not analog but it's fantastic. Everyone should own these. Eight channels. Like five different kinds of built in reverb with a reverb knob for each channel.

The coolest thing is two built in mics so you can record in stereo, which I've never done before but it's so cool. You can also just hook up your own mic, xlr or 1/4 inch.

I recorded channels 1 and 2, one for left and two for right, outputted those and any other track to the computer (just to reduce background noise), imported back to the tascam and mastered on the tascam itself. It's got compression and all that. So sick. So easy. Buy one

Awesome, I'd appreciate that.

Today I will try singing to one of my songs, and I don't think it will go that well
Something that I will do for sure is to cover "Outside With The Cuties" by Frankie Cosmos
aaaaah I hope I don't fuck up that much

good stuff right here! I really like the guitar! keep it up!

this is really good, seriously. I wish I could make music this good, because this is kinda the sound I want to have
Sleep Well just has to be my favourite, it's warm and your voice is fantastic
well done, and keep it up!

as always, I can never get tired of this. It's just perfect.

>shoegaze, dreampop, Post-Punk
holy shit these are my favourite genres, and I really like to see them well blended (and that's something you succeeded very well)
Quickly said, this is fucking great and I really like your stuff. I can't wait to listen to your new EP

I actually like this more than PawPaw's songs, I don't know why. I can't wait to hear the whole album, because this is incredible. I really like the vocals!

Daddy Long Legs is incredible, I can't stop listening to it, it's kind of addicting. Your guitar playing is really damn good, I really like it.

dreamy stuff! Really reminds me of Animal Collective, keep it up dude!

Your Baileys of Water is my new bus song, It really fits the whole traveling theme. Man, your vocals are so good.
Also, I listened to Robbie Basho, just as you reccomended and it was fantastic! It gave me the inspiration to pick up my guitar and to write some new songs (it went pretty well)
I want to thank you for recommending me his music, this really is incredible.

my goal right now is to write good lyrics for my newest song, and my other goal is that people will like my new album. But my biggest goal is to play live someday, but that will probably be in a couple years

haha I'm glad you liked it! Means a lot coming from someone whose musical ideas are likewise appreciated. The roads in texas are huge, and the clouds really do appear as baileys with how huge they amass to every day. Makes for great eye candy every time I'm on the move.

Robbie Basho continues to be an inspiration for me. His approach to music seemed so genuine and unique. Visions of the Country is probably my favorite album of his. Keep us updated when you get those vocals done please, I'm hyped

yes! I will post it here when it's done
