I'm not sure how it would work, but I'm looking at LCD's production with Sufjan's voice. They write songs together somehow.

Closest you are gonna get is Fantomas, and look how that turned out. Also, DESU, trevor dunn is amazing, but I think Jared Warren is a much more interesting bassist (except for dead goon, which was written by a drummer)
