Anyone in here with a jpopsuki account that could check to see if the My Dead Ishikawa album is up yet? Should be: 死んだ僕の石川-「幸せの谷の死体」 My Dead Ishikawa –A Corpse In The Happy Valley
In the meantime, have a share
Dories –Outside Observer [FLAC] >Post-punk revival, lo-fi, jangle pop >Decent Club (DC 001)
For their second album, Sean Meadows and Rachel Grimes left The Sonora Pine, presumably to work on their respective projects. TSP was reduced to a trio, but the band enlisted the help of three musicians which help contribute to this excellent piece of gentle post-rock/folk rock. Organist Told Hildreth on track two for this album, accordion player Nora Christensen for tracks 4 and 6, and Noel Brather on Cello for track 7. The result is a more focused, cohesive, and more gentle album than their debut. O'Neil has full vocal duties this time around, her angelic voice weaving songs about desperate longing for change, longing for people, longing to be alone. It's a very sedating album for the most part, with the first six tracks in keeping with that theme of longing. But despite the content of the lyrics some of the songs are actually very groovy. The final track is a bit removed from the first six, as it was composed for drummer Kevin Coultas' mother. It's an eight minute flirtation of light post-rock elements and folk, a wonderful flirtation that has Coultas stepping up to the guitar for a lovely show.

just wanted to thank the user that posted pic related in the previous thread
It's surprisingly solid. First track in particular is fucking great.
T-Square - Truth (1987) [256] >fusion jazz, smooth jazz, late 80s as fuck
One of the most long-lived and largest fusion jazz groups in Japan along with Cassiopeia (afaik) which pretty much goes totally unnoticed in the west. Finding any of their albums anywhere is extremely hard. Notable for their heavy use of the EWI.
Béla Bartók - the string quartets, recorded in 2000 with the Hagen Quartet >early modern classical, early experimental, inspired instrumental metal bands across the world, sophisticated af Sample: youtu.be/Du07qCXkNa8 Link: mediafire.com/download/6qlssa5sqr8h6q7
I normally clean my records and get rid of any distracting clicks when I edit them, but I decided to leave them on this album since it can be easily found on Amazon.co.jp (and in better quality, too).
Anyways, some info about the album:
Eiichi Ohtaki was a popular Japanese singer in the 80s, mostly known for creating songs that would easily sound as if you were at the beach or something. One of the albums that he created was "NIAGARA SONGBOOK", an album that contained rearranged orchestral versions of many of his songs from "A Long Vacation" (and some other songs from some other album). Arranged by Akira Inoue.
Hey fellas, I've hit my data cap for the month so that means I now have unlimited high speed upload.
I've got Baha Men Greatest Movie Hits, Cesium 137 - Proof of Life, and a shitload of albums along the lines of
Doo Wop Gold (3 CD Set), Mel Torme - Christmas Songs, Harry Connick Jr - 25, The Best of Andrew Lloyd Webber, James Galway - The Wind Beneath my Wings, Apalachian Stomp - Bluegrass Classics, Nashville Harmonicas - 16 Super Hits, Cajun Christmas, etc
Just start ripping and uploading them all? I have hundreds of these albums.

I know people got super salty about "shilling" last time this was posted but it isnt mine and I like it
Anyone have more like this? It was the opening share in the previous share thread. Just getting into EDM and it's hard for me to define the sub-genres, but I like this particular style.
If you are just getting into EDM there is a lot to check out.
I'd recommend looking up Aphex Twin if you want a vast discog of electronic music. It isn't similar to what you posted but if you are just now finding electronic sounds palatable, give it a try.
Owen Miller
scooped these up, thanks for sharing

( Peter Schickele ) P.D.Q. Bach - Black Forest Bluegrass >A bluegrass band with a Baroque orchestra, a wind octet with toys, a commercial with a snake—this album has it all!
Zacha - From the Heart of the Andes >World / South America / Central America, Instrumental, got it from them when they were playing out in front of some store back in the 90s, Relaxation
Milt Jackson – Sunflower (1973) >Jazz-Funk, Hard Bop, Vibraphone-core. Smooth, funky & comfy. >"one of the finest offerings on the label, with a core band consisting of Herbie Hancock (playing electric and acoustic piano), bassist Ron Carter, drummer Billy Cobham, trumpeter Freddie Hubbard, drummer/percussionist Ralph McDonald, and guitarist Jay Berliner. A chamber orchestra exquisitely arranged and conducted by Don Sebesky adorns the session as well."
Vonn is a doom metal/noise act themed around torture. Not especially fun listening, more of a curiosity than anything else. Their first album is on Youtube and not too hard to track down an mp3 of.
Thing is, apparently they have a second album, which was released on some weird-ass Chilean label that hasn't updated their blogspot in five years. I can find no audio clips of this anywhere, no download links (even dead ones), no one has ever sold a copy anywhere I can check. All I can find is the cover and basic info.
Which makes me wonder if they ever actually distributed any copies of it at all.

Shared an album in the last thread, made a request and unfortunately no one could help me out. Trying to get 'Soul Searching' by Nujabes. Thanks in advance if anyone can help me out!

BB Gabor- Girls of the Future mega.nz/#!pg1g3CaI!0wLn9J80kFCcKS3ZgKs31ysKfBYNGZJqxL0bym_urE8 This link's already in the archive, but I want to point it out for a couple reasons. Firstly, It's R9k core about how robots in the future will make women irrelevant. Secondly, this album sold so poorly BB Gabor fell into a deep depression. could not bring himself to create a new album, and eventually killed himself. I found it very interesting to consider this man's sad tale in the context of upbeat pop music, enough to post the link again
Jayden Sanchez
I'll look for lossless, if I'll find something I'll upload.

lurk for uk garage, user up there posted two tracks. Don't listen to aphex twin unless you want it to be your last electronic explerience.
Carter Hughes
Dood I don't get it, if anyone wants it he will open the fucking archive. No need to spam every thread with this.
Jonathan Ramirez
damn, I shared this. Relistened to it at work yesterday and there's like 3 negative songs about women, one about a serial killer, very r9k indeed. also funny and catchy as hell. Never knew about his depression, that sucks.
