Because musicians nowadays aren't skilled enough to do them.

They're really boring

because rock music isn't common anymore

That sort of thing just got cliche and overplayed. It's the same reason you won't hear much electric guitar in pop music any more.
I think Built to Spill is one of the only modern bands that can still make guitar solos exciting.

because the music industry isn't about making good music anymore just selling singles

but theyre boring AF

Hey dad what up my nigga

Not really

Not passionate enough fåm

There are a lot of corny guitar solos in pop music

its usually vocal focused so you don't think of it as much

no one knows how to play guitar anymore

they are common in music just not popular music

>playing a solo = skill
Fucking wankers

no one puts any effort into music anymore. listen to how lazy the Life of Pablo is compared to the records of the 70s

society is in decline, nothing else to it

contrary to what /dads/ think, guitar solos are clichéd, boring, trite, and usually crocks of shit. Guitar solos are only good when used incredibly sparingly.

Its not tasteful. If a song doesnt musically need it then there SHOULD NOT be one. You cant force that, or itll be garbage.

and thats why ive never been to an ingvey concert
(i dont care if i spelled it wrong)
