He had the punk attitude down pretty well. I just hope he goes back to not covering Sinatra songs soon. His last few albums of original material were great.

he put out 2 cover albums hefore Time Out of Mind, so i have my fingers crossed

If he had come out with a hard proto-punk record after Blonde on Blonde it would've been amazing.

Folk-punk

>tfw you'll never hear a Bob Dylan proto-punk record

It's called Highway 61 buddy.

is that a real thing?

Well Punk is rooted in Folk, and the fact he went Electric before any other folk artist, and was a big influence on VU and the like, points to yes

Bringing It All Back Home is one of the most punk records ever.

AJJ

Proto-cuck

not even funny in a post-ironic way anymore

didnt he literally just put out an album of new material

bob dylan

you're a proto-fucking idiot

>was fucking sara lownds, edie segwick, joan baez, and numerous groupies
>cuck

wew lad

no, it was a covers album. it was good for what kt was, but nothing exciting.

yeah but he didn't like war so that means he's a cuck

It's more Sinatra covers. Which sound decent I guess but part of the appeal of Dylan for me are his lyrics. His covers usually sound phoned in. His stuff from Time out of Mind through Tempest were awesome bar that weird ass Christmas album.

he openly stated that he was made protest music because it was popular and no other reason, he just wanted to be popular

bob dylan

Well yeah he definitely inspired bands that would go on and make punk

>liking war
>i've played numerous FPS games, seen every Marvel film thrice and wear camo patterns so therefore i like war

Fuck Millenials.

unless it's from this century he was probably fucking with the press.

he never gave a straight interview.

Violent Femmes

i kinda like the christmas album. listening to it on a snowy night drive during the holdays gives me a feeling like no other.

thats true. i honestly think he dkesnt care either way

I just realized this is the very first time I've heard him speak

go back to /r/politics m8

He only stated that because he didn't want to do it anymore. Even Joan Baez called him on that as bullshit.

Same. It's a really weird feel.

And you can go to a real warzone and come back here and tell us more about how you "liked war."

it was ironic jesus

He completely stumped this guy.

one of my favorite interviews. you can literally see the disappointment and anger on the interviewers face, even though he's trying to hard to hide it.
