Norway

Correct

Now what's my favorite country that starts with "C" and ends with "hina"

Post fave Norwegian artist

Bugge Wesseltoft

I actually don't listen to much Norwegian music so his name starts with "V" and ends with "arg Vikernes".

What's Bugge Wesseltoft like?

Nu jazz / jazzdance with a jazz piano background and old man who was a jazz musician but also done lots of collabs like Duo.

I'd suggest New Conceptions of Jazz and Duo to check him out.

Oh yeah I've seen this cover a lot

Will have to check out sometime for sure

how goes it

Great tune. This is Robert Hood right? I think Minimal Nation is pretty solid.

Is it crdgehina

Correct

Would anyone have an idea of my favorite Kpop group whose name starts with "f" and ends with "(x)"?

>hawaii part ii
best new trip

wanna listen to more classical?
also + most of the stuff on your chart
i dont know shit except bob marley
+ nico
I thought it was just okay
Interesting listen though

Yeah I'd like to get into more classical. Is there anything you'd like to rec?

listen some more and it miiight become your favourite. it happened to me, anyways

It could maybe. But I dunno I just found it way too "Christmasy" or something like that. It's a bit hard to explain but yeah that's why I didn't like it too much.

correct, robert hood & his daughter! they are releasing an album next week

eh, that's understandable

so, what did you think about that Françoise Hardy album?

+ nico, Huerco S. & joe Meek (tood bad he only made singles, not other full albums)
is that Raime new LP good?

>daughter
Woah. I didn't know about that. Interesting. I forget these Detroit techno guys are old sometimes.
>they are releasing an album next week
I keep on hearing about cool releases from this year like this but have never checked one out with the exception of Blackstar. I really have to be better at keeping up with the year next time.
Yeah sorry. It did have cool moments and ideas though. I can easily see why you like it so much.

I'm guessing f(x) but that's probably wrong

Yeah that Francoise hardy album was nice
Think it was you that reccwd it so thanks

What do you think is Aphex Twin's best work
Yeah that's wrong. The answer is actually f The Beatles (x).

tooth is nice, i think it'll be a grower

it's a bit heart-warming

That is pretty heartwarming wew.
>I'll recommend Phew
Good rec.
>what do you suggest I listen to?
Do you accept krautrock influenced music? If so, recommending Stereolab.

>hawaii part II
I always read "Hawaii" by the High Llamas (check this if you like the Beach Boys & good pop in general)..
Also, "Bo En - Pale Machine" is quite similar
>Think it was you that reccwd it so thanks
yep :)
you can go wrong with her '60s albums (my favorite is La Question, but it's heavily influenced by bossa-nova/MPB so you might not like it, idk)
>Aphex Twin's best work
really?? atm it's the only album from him i have ever listen to. It's comfy but no so groundbreaking imho.

Can't recommend anything based on what I don't recognize, but I can tell you to listen to Phew.

Hello there. I forgot my chart.
That's a good rec too. I've never heard a Stereolab album. I've been known to like GY!BE when I have the time and concentration to listen to one of their albums; are Stereolab that kind of post-rock?

So evidently krautrock is the glue holding my favorite kinds of music together. Can, Faust, Neu!, Amon Düül II, anything else?

I hear The High Llamas are great. Haven't heard of Bo En though. Thanks for the recs.
>really??
I was asking him what he thinks is Aphex's best work, not calling SAW his best.
Stereolab aren't the GY!BE kind of post-rock. I'd argue that a lot of the time they don't really fit the "post-rock" label but post-rock really is a hard genre to pin on some things. Here are some samples from my favorite Stereolab album that might interest you:

well at least you like something
you might like Akiko Yano

depends what you want to get into
symphonies, or do you want go listen to piano, cello, violin?

hm
Piano stuff would be nice.

well, then the mozart piano sontas would be an easy rec. they're easy to listen to. i'd recommend andreas staier's recording

if you want something a bit more exciting then go for some of beethovens sonatas. what versions you should go for here is difficult to recommend. i'd try ashkenazy, pollini and kempff

finally if you want something kind of advanced (not really though), there's scriabins etudes. try richters version, then you can also get a taste of scriabins sonatas
