no man, you are way off base. before ASMR was even a thing i recognized that i got a pleasent feeling from similar stuff. at young age it was friends counting hockey cards, dad giving me advice in a caring manner. before it got big i even used to cut up audrey tautou interviews and listen to them in bed so i could feel elated and sleep better.
