Sup Forums: I challenge you to find the lowest artist ID on the Pitchfork website. What does a low artist ID mean? It most likely means they were one of the first bands on Pitchfork's radar. A band that was recognized by P4K early must be cool right?

See pic related for an example featuring the band that leads off P4K Music Fest this year. I haven't been able to find anything under 100 so far so I'm hoping Sup Forums won't let me down.

(Please forgive me if this is a trivial task for hacker-types, I meant no offense)

Can't believe I didn't think of them.

pitchfork.com/artists/6-abba/

Considering the website is redesigned every few years, this is going to tell you dick all. In fact, the first 20000 or so artists were probably automatically entered into the database.

Yeah it seems like a bunch were entered alphabetically at first.

I know rateyourmusic's [Artist1] is Counting Crows.
