...

Kumiko, the Treasure Hunter

>The Shining
>A Clockwork Orange
>2001

Kubrick and classical were made for each other

too bad the movie is shite

I didn't think so, I thought it was one of the better American horror films in a couple years. Sure, the concept was gimmicky, but it was fun, well-made, and had a super John Carpenter-y feel, which I'm a huge fan of.

Yeah that's true. I was being a bit harsh but I do like the first half of the movie. I just think it went downhill and there were a lot of things that could've been done better. (Especially the main characters' plan at the end which IMO is the worst possible idea they could have thought of).

The Holy Mountain
Bladerunner
Band of Outsiders
Adventureland

Agreed that was the main issue I have with it. Still love the movie tho

Interstellar. Not diverse in the least, but packs a punch.

Yeah, it's supposed to be symbolic because they used to go make out in the pool when they were younger but it's still dumb

Based ennio always delivers.

I can't believe only one other person in this thread has mentioned a John Carpenter soundtrack. His 70s and 80s soundtracks are some of the GOAT.

Whoops, that's what I get for using the first jewtube link

this

The soundtracks for Dustforce, Risk of Rain and the two Hotline Miami games.

Not often I can say the music made the movie for a documentary. Watched this expecting to be bored and was blown away
