Kill yourselves

I enjoy it. Not my favorite Kozolek album, but a good one nonetheless. Favorite tracks are Carissa, Jim Wise, Micheline, and Ben's My Friend.

DAMN!!!!!!!!!

One of Mark's best, it feels a lot more connected in its themes, and he does the whole old man looking back at his life thing really well.

Benji is a good, honest album. But Universal Themes is a musical record.

Benji is probably the AOTY 2014 though, not much else imposing came out.

>mfw Micheline

I've listened to all of RHP's albums, but of his solo career I've only heard Benji. What would you guys recommend? Move on to the RHP EPs, or are there other Kozolek albums worth hearing? Favorite albums DCH, RC, and Benji.

first skm album is good

Ghosts of the Great Highway. Get on it user.

Practicing guitar right now. I'll listen to it tonight though. Thanks for rec.

To Be Kind???

The new silver mt Zion album was great in 2014 too. But Benji really takes the cake

It's my favorite Mark Kozelek album.

My second favorite is Ghosts of the Great Highway.

I don't really care for any others.

>he doesn't like Rollercoaster or DCH
what

Unbearably boring

It's been a few years since I've checked out Red House Painters desu. Maybe I should give them another listen.

Also, I forgot I liked his Christmas album.

He's probably counting RHP as a separate entity/project from Kozolek.

No, I'm not. I thought they were boring when I listened to them. I need to give them another chance.

>le sad white boy music
>tfw no gf

Am I the only one who really enjoyed the collab with Jesu?

>mfw I'm seeing Mark perform live in August

feels good man

It was okay at best. Production was pretty lackluster considering the artists at play.

I thought it was okay. I'm a huge Jesu/Justin Broadrick fan but really I wasn't expecting much.

When I saw Godflesh in San Francisco in 2015 Mark Kozelek came out during the encore and performed Like Rats with them :3

nice, totally jelly
