Only avant teens hate Springsteen tho

Since when does Sup Forums hate Springsteen? He is one of the most respected 'dadrock' artists discussed here.

Why does Sup Forums hate Springsteen? He's pure patrician.

Sup Forums loves Bruce. And so do I.

Sup Forums is generally very positive about springsteen

no idea what you're talking about

bradley was a pop genius

so when did your older brother die?

...

huh? what is this hot meme I have no brother

i know you don't

i'm asking when your brother died

Post favorite Springsteen albums

Right
Fucking NOW

...

i'm sorry user i'm not following I just think sublime is a good band that gets laughed at for dude weed lmao

seconded

OP already posted it

>Sometimes it's like someone took a knife baby
>Edgy and dull and cut a six inch valley
>Through the middle of my skull

damn...

this

Nebraskafags can fuck off

No, they get laughed at for being a ska band. And that's only fair.

Sublime is neither good nor bad. Ska bands do not deserve consideration.

they have some ska influenced songs but they aren't a ska band, I would say they are pop punk that dips their toes in reggae

Duh

>I would say they are pop punk that dips their toes in reggae

Also known as a ska band.

incorrect but thanks for playing

Can we stop this "Sup Forums is a single person who unanimously loves or hates bands" meme?

Best Springsteen album coming through

Everybody hates on Dire Straits, but they cannot deny that's it's god tier.

Dun fact: iovine produced this and darkness on the edge of town, also roy bittan played the keys on making movies

Holy fuck I wrote this off as the synth poppy downward slope not worth delving into and I can't believe how wrong was.

It's like the 808s & Heartbreak of the Bruce catalog and the Nebraska sequel rolled into one. He manages to cram all of the drama, heartbreak, failures, struggles, etc. of his previous compositions into one album of mid tempo rockers about a crumbling relationship. GOAT.

Is it true that this is an entire complete double album worth of material from the Darkness era? Is it not great of is there a reason it doesn't get more press?

I don't think anyone really hates on dire straits here. Mark Knopfler is a hugely revered guitarist, adept at crossing genre lines so well that almost anyone can find an album he's done that they like. Even if they don't like the anthemic, top of the charts stuff.

System Of A Down

they're pretty forgettable after Toxicity but their first album is damn good

Eeew

You just answered your own question

I agree with you user, I love sublime

Screen door slams

It has some great tracks but most are just ok

DOWN
IN
JUNG
GLE
LAAAAAAAAANNNNNDDDDD

The first FOUR tracks are solid but not amazing for Bruce. The next EIGHT are amazing and among the best of his career.

That sounds like a damn good album to me

Mary's Dress Waves

Does anyone have a link for The Promise? There's nothing in the archive and it's next to impossible to find online.

Yeah it's good but bruce has other albums that are consistently amazing. I'm just saying it's not his best

Johnny 99 is GOAT

Man Greetings from Asbury Park really isn't so great after you discover Astral Weeks...

Like a vision she dacnces across the porch as the radio plays

ftfy

haven't listened to anything Born in the USA yet

Dawg we're all cool here and we're all having a good time talking the Boss but did you just rank Born to Run lower than the River?

yes

prolly a scruffy drone

This is legitimately my all time favorite album. Jungleland has never failed to bring me to tears in existential dread, and it is also the perfect closing song to the perfect album, don't care what anyone else says.

I enjoyed this

pic related will literally trigger Sup Forums

So, Sup Forums does hate him.

Pretty much anything that isn't indie bullshit.

Devil and Dust should be higher. It's the only post 70s Springsteen release I actually like.

Just realised I missed Ghost of Tom Joad
6/10

Sup Forums loves him tough

The true goat of the e street band was obviously roy bittan.

The piano playing on the 2 objectively best Springsteen albums, born to run and darkness, were some of the greatest of the era.

The E street band is one of the all time goat groups

anyone who hates bruce needs to off themselves immediately. or at least listen to nebraska and stop being a little bitch

> why does Sup Forums XYZ blahblahblah
This board isn't a person. Your underage is showing.

Note: Bruce's Second Longest Concert, clocking in just under four hours. It narrowly beats out his show on New Years Eve of 1980, and is second only to his show in Helsinki Finland in 2012w

What are his best songs? I think racing in the street is his best, followed by thunder road, Johnny 99, jungle land, the river, badlands in no particular order. But racing gets me Everytime....

If there's an album that'll make me shed a tear, it's darkness

Racing in the Street is my favorite at the moment. 4th of July, Asbury Park is among his best imo. No Surrender too.
