Nobody here listens to shitty fucking pop punk.
Fuck off.

fuck off op

Why would they make an album like this after blinks last two albums. This could be literally any pop punk band. Tom is sorely missed, more than I thought he would be thb. Also marks vocals are not good on this.

i will start if someone could share a mega link to it

Why would you waste your time on this shit

it's pretty shit. there are only one or two good songs on it, 3 at best. They all sound like generic pop punk songs.

All of Blink is overratted.
But this is over prossessed shit, with awful lyrics, even with binks standard.
They're going in the same direction Fall Out Boy went.

DUDE ROY LICHTENSTEIN LMap

I do and I've been here for two years

You can't spell process, you probably shouldn't get to criticue stuff.

>tfw 24 and blink is my fav band

Yeah I may have shit taste, whatever.
Torrenting now
take it, cause I don't want it.

*critique

what quality is it?

Tom is a bitch, but the band misses his artistic influence. Skiba's early Trio stuff was probably the pinnacle of pop punk, but anything recent he's done is watered-down and polished to death and this album is just more of that, from both Matt & Mark. The best track is the 30-second closer, no more need be said

they sound like a band that never left the 90's yet is trying to sound like modern pop music

there's a kind of appeal to that, but it just doesn't really do anything for me. I feel like the modern pop overtakes the 90's influence

Tom was more essential to the band's dynamic than I thought.
While Mark kept Tom from going too far, Tom made sure that their sound never started to stagnate.
And yeah, California is pretty stagnant. In fact, it may be a regression.

Overall i never really got into blink182 and really enjoyed dogs eating dogs over all of most of the albums i listened to. This is about a 4/10 though.

i like bored to death

but i admit i'll probably never outgrow pop punk

i get up i get down

i love blink like crazy, this album definetley has some flaws in it. some song ARE TOO POPPY, i dont blame blink tho, i blame the john felman or some shit like that, guy. cmon you cant have someone that works with 5sos work with blink. blink means everything to me, they have been my favorite band for years and trust me, this album has flaws, flaws im going to grow to love because everything blink takes out is still good, but they are there. cant wait to see them 3 times for this tour!

>mega.nz/#!QUFmzbpK!5oIBVdsMmeackcOmMYpdSg-7CgEr7lobWEG2p4k-bMo
Dead link.

first track is actually pretty good.

I was looking for some modern-old school early 2000's pop punk and this could be it.

blink-182 had zero good songs
alkaline trio had one

ergo, probably an improvement
stop shopping at hot topic go listen to peter hammill

Tom IS Blink-182

If you didn't realize this before, you're fucking retarded.

Untitled/Neighborhoods are basically Tom albums and they're both fantastic

tom was easily the worst part of the band
that's the probe in your ass talking

Nobody even cares enough at this point to bother listening to it in order to critique it

You're a fucking idiot

Tom's voice, melodies and guitar is why Blink-182 is great

Blink-182 without Tom is +44/this shitty album

This is better than anything on the new album, an actual return to the old sound that is actually catchy and fun.

youtube.com/watch?v=iXgekxWUZ8g

I can't even pretend to give a shit about Blink 182 in 2016. I mean seriously good for them, happy that they get to make music again after years of dealing with that asshat stalling things. But I seriously can't imagine it being able to capture the feelings Blink gave me back when I was a kid. Somethings are just better left in the past.

Nu-Males can't listen to Blink-182

They "matured" and now listen to Kanye West, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, FKA Twigs, Earl Sweatshirt, Beyonce, the list goes on...

i'm not listening to angelsandairwavescore

youtube.com/watch?v=jwfYTSdJ7kY

Threw a lot of names out there but none of them are accurate. That's what projecting that much will do for you.

This. Golden Showers in the Golden State is immature as fuck, but the melody is better than any of the melodies on California.

Tom and Mark are the exact opposite

Mark WANTS to make great Blink-182 albums and for the band to be together but he doesn't have the ability

Tom DOESN'T want to make great Blink-182 albums or for the band to be together yet he 100% has the ability

Tom is more interested in making shitty U2 ripoff music and chasing ayyy's, yet there's no doubt in my mind if he wanted to just make a Blink album tomorrow with the boys it'd be great, as Neighborhoods was (an album he half assed, at that)

Tom is the main songwriter, but I can't feel bad for him.

Mark tried so hard to make things work :(

Now Blink-182 has the #1 rock single in the country, is selling out shows and will probably have have a top 3 at least Billboard 200 debut this week.

Blink-182 will now have no reason to get Tom back and a shitty second era of them will be as popular as rock can be in 2016.

They weren't even in the same time zones for most of Neighborhoods, and when they did get together for Dogs Eating Dogs, it was even better. Seriously, if Mark wants to be taken seriously, he needs to dump Skiba and wait for Tom to get done with his bullshit.

>tfw I have to set "Pretty Little Girl" to end a minute early on iTunes because someone thought having Yelawolf on a Blink-182 track was a good idea

Lol I forgot about that. Travis should not make any contributions as far as song structure goes

Version without Yelawolf

mediafire.com/download/299c8ftb39ywq43/Pretty Little Girl.mp3

At least I can say it's WAY better than Neighborhoods

Skiba held back, I'm disappointed. I was expecting him to be as dark, edgy and brooding as I remember Alkaline Trio being. I barely recognized his voice.
San Diego and No Future are the best tracks.

>Toms voice is why Blink-182 is great
>Toms voice
>Missing Tom DeLonge

I'm not expecting Dude Ranch 2: Electric Boogaloo; but I'm still expecting Dog Shit: the Album

I was actually pretty stoked for this since I listened to blink my entire childhood and this album was being billed as a return to form.

It reminds me of 5 Seconds of Summer, though, for real. It sucks. I was ready to give it a pass if it was even half decent too.

Tom bro, who would have thought you would be so missed.

>tfw never be 15 and smoking pot and listening to reckless abandon at 3am ever again

Everyone is too busy trolling Avalanches threads

>life is too short to last long

i know we never listened to blink songs for the lyrics but these are just horrendous

Cynical was alright.

As a hard core blink fan I don't dig this album, and by hard core i mean they could shit out anything and digest it but this is just too much.

I'd rather listen to tom/ava whatever the fuck he is up to nowadays

It was okay. I had bigger expectations for it cause I used to love Alkaline Trio and then scaled back said expectations when I remembered I hadn't liked anything they put out in over a decade. I want to like it more, but it's just lacking something that I can't put my finger on (or in). There you go OP :)

Ps I feel like Skiba doesn't really do much and his voice is way too similar to mark I really can't tell them apart.

not really interested in a blink 182 without tom

I legit thought Mark was singing the hook on Bored to Death until I saw the video

same

If only they got Dan instead that would have been cooler.

And I'll be 100% and say "built this pool" is the best song on the album

Dan from The Wonder Years? I don't know, his lyrical content is a bit too extreme for blink, even mature blink

Built This Pool isn't that great, but part of it is that Skiba says some shit at the end

Alkaline Trio is better than Blink 182 imo.

Alkaline Trio is so fucking boring after Goddamnit

No bruh Dan from alkaline trip

*after From Here to Infirmity

As far as vocals go, yeah he'd be better than Skiba, but everyone would be better than Skiba. Skiba is only there because I guess no other motherfucker can play guitar

TEENAGE SATELLITES feels like ASTHENIA #twoclassics

>Mark tried so hard to make things work :(

No he fucking didn't, Mark was a little bitch about the whole thing.

. I feel like the first time Blink broke up, that Mark had a lot more to do with that than Tom did. Tom wanted to take time off for his family and Mark wanted to keep touring. Both ideas are fine and all, but family always comes before work. They had been on a brutal schedule from 1999-2004 and they deserved some time off. I don't see why Blink had to end in 2005. If they had just given Tom some time off, they could have come back and written a fantastic album. Imagine WDNTW combined with a Self Titled feel?
As for 2015, that was a little different. Judging from the sound of things, Tom REALLY tried to have fun with Blink anymore but Mark seemed to have downplayed him several times. Tom wanted to release DED a little early for the fans, and (allegedly) Mark wanted it to be taken down. Again, Tom comes to Mark about Poet Anderson and Mark shoots him down again. (Like it or hate it, Tom TRIED to include them) Granted, Tom handled the whole "Tom.Is.Out" thing poorly, and he should have contacted them himself, but it just seems like Mark has been very passive aggressive towards Tom. Tom even tweeted at Mark several months into last year to say that he could 'never hate Mark, and that he was his bestfriend for years' and Mark NEVER responded.

Boring like this new blink album, so weird to hear 50 yr olds make teen pop punk

Fuck off Tom, you and your painkillers

>t. Mark

Yeah boring like this new blink album. I did say that this is a shit album, did I not?

>Mark "Enema of the State rinse and repeat" Hoppus

Tom is a retarded moron. Good riddance.

youtube.com/watch?v=p7PbXqR2zyM

This

Tom has acted like an asshole in some cases, but Mark has been a complete prick throughout the entirety of it.

youtube.com/watch?v=1N1IJLNiG6Y

I did not sign up for this feels train

Do people unironically like Blink 182 on this board?

it's bretty good. solid pop punk, what's not to love

This would've been better with our beloved alienboy.

You are absolutely right.

do people from other boards unironically pretend popular music cant be good

The best songs on the last the full length blink albums are the first and last tracks.

Ghosts on the Dance Floor and Even if She Falls

Cynical and Brohemian Rhapsody

Sidennote What the fuck is up with the production on this album sounds like fuckin five seconds of summer shit. RIP Jerry Finn you are sorely missed

I feel like if you're a certain age they were just part of your adolescence.

Links are dead, bros.

A quick re up?

I thought mega was free from this MUH COPYRIGHT bullshit?

Well it's time to leave then

nope. just name the file something else.

You can't spell critique, you probably shouldn't critique stuff.

That's actually Travis at the end.

no one is gonna upload a new rip of this album?

You're everything wrong with this board.

neighborhoods was basically angels and airwaves bsides and that's why everyone hates it.

Tom Delonge is shit dude. Angels and Airwaves is mediocore music that nobody but chicks who have/had a crush on him listen to.

Tom went from selling out arenas to barely filling smaller rooms.

Almost no blink fans liked Neighborhoods. It was just Angels b-sides.

Dogs was good though.

Tom has been dead weight since he joined the free masons.

Holy christ what the fuck are they doing with this production?

>auto tune
>digital handclaps
>overdubbed call + response verses
>reverb heavy drums
>useless piano
>Sha-na-na nah nah nah

You're a 3 piece piece pop punk band, if you need all this shit cover up the weak songwriting it means song isn't ready for a record.

>Judging from the sound of things, Tom REALLY tried to have fun with Blink

Stopped reading.

Mark's twitter is really dumb and cringey holy moly

Seems like Tom is more important to the band than some people think.

California is pretty unforgettable because it lacks all of the nice guitar riffs.

>main songwriter and guitarist
>essential to the band
Who'd have thought it?

It's streaming for free in its entirety on JewTube.
Prob why no one has bothered.

Has it ever been explained what the fuck happeend to this guy?

youtube.com/watch?v=Eaeb33StBQ0

No, Scott IS blink 182

Are anons meming? Matt Skiba literally always has been and always will be the only blink 182 member that matters.

Shitty skater-core only listened to by dumbass stoners and white girls with tumblrs
