Right on! *awkwardly walks away*
Hip-Hop or Zippy-Dop?
>people have the time to perpetuate this meme
Wildflower is the first album that I've waited for for more than ten years and genuinely enjoyed.
Honestly I was shocked about the direction that Wildflower took from SILY but it's the definition of a grower and it's a great record in it's own right.
But can we just agree that Hip-Hop artists literally cant make anything if they dont have someone create an actually original work of art. They need someone to do the actually hard work.
No the fuck we can't.
I mean most hip-hop artists sample, yeah. But there's fucking no way that I'd agree that most of the individual parts of an album like Wildflower were better than Wildflower itself.
But yeah the sentiment may be true for most hip-hop artists. Although DLS is doing something with original instrumentation soon I think.
elaborate.
Im a fan of hip-hop dont get me wrong im just talking about the making of it and weather or not if its over credited. (And i love Wildflower, possibly even more than SILY, i just dont know princess.)
>just talking about the making of it
no though I absolutely agree that it helps to have a universe of music out there to be trawled through
but I think that's an art in itself
Opinions on J. Cole? specifically Forest hills? That album is basically the only reason i can still see merit in the genre outside of it sounding nice.
