pretty crisp sludge type stuff. i like the compositions and a lot of the effects on the guitars used. you might benefit from bigger "drops" or just a payoff in general. the riffs are all really cool and groovy, but i think if you opened them up a bit in jamais vu for example, it might make take your tunes to the next level
>scrugley.bandcamp.com love these compositions. remind me of a more post rock oriented deafheaven. i feel like the mix culd be adjusted a little more (like crash cymbals come down) but solid overall

Description:
Tragedy and viscera, established vicariously through slow, warm, looping and warping drones, glitches, bursts of noise, stinging synths and overwhelmingly profound levels of volume. In the ever expanding thirty eight minutes that creates this single track, Jorge embodies the strong foundations of these beliefs in what is Fauxiliary.

Thanks for the feedback! The new album has more "drops" and different guitar work, I'm glad you saw the need for a switch up as much as I did.
Always glad to see you in these threads. Great, earthy, naturalistic post rock. One of the best third wave acts.
Love the album art. Not a huge fan of the mixing on the first track, it sounds like it's a live recording instead of a studio one...not sure if that's what you were going for or not. It's hard to make out all the instrumentation, which is unfortunate, because it sounds really complex. I was able to enjoy the last three tracks much more, especially Soft Spheres, I'm a sucker for a good drone. Hope to hear more stuff from you soon.

I hate that so much. Still a good song, but I probably wouldn't listen to it again just because it triggers my autism. I'll check out your other songs though.
I love your stuff mane. Just listened to Transient Life, great as usual. I'm usually not into black metal but I like what you do a lot, you add a lot to it and kind of transcend the genre.
Very chill stuff. Can't say I'm a big fan, just not my kind of thing. I enjoyed Forgot About Me more than the new album, felt like there was more energy on that one.
Wow the beginning to Domo nearly gave me an acid flashback. Usually not a fan of psych pop but I enjoyed this a lot. Will definitely give the album a listen when it comes out in full.
Pretty unique sounding stuff. Sounds like a warm fuzzy blanket. Seven bucks is a bit steep for a bandcamp album imo but you do you senpai.
Vaporwave is a dead meme at this point but I enjoyed this well enough. Nothing groundbreaking but quality stuff. I especially like SPF2001.
Absolutely loved "A zold hegy," that track is truly awe-inspiring. That's the kind of stuff that I aspire to make, but usually fail... I'm a bit jealous. I enjoyed the first and last tracks on Csillagmetszés, didn't care much for the middle two. Not a fan whatsoever of the harsh noise stuff. However, I will definitely be following your work from now on.
Not really my thing per se but I enjoyed it a fair bit. I like the guitar work and the vocals, although the mixing does bug me in a couple of tracks.
This is some great second-wave revival stuff. The spoken word/field recordings feel kind of overdone though, can't say they added to my enjoyment of the music at all. Will definitely listen to the full album when it drops, I'm hype.
1/?
has the practice of "negging" become this ingrained to your daily speech ?
I'm in love with the production, not so much the rapping. It's not bad, but it needs more power behind it, you sound kind of bored. Regarless, will be listening in the future.
Wow, I listened to the first featured track and thought this was just going to be another crap bandcamp no-effort ambient project. However, I'm really impressed. Will download your whole discography because of the deal, excited to listen to it.
Decent electronic stuff, I wish it had a bit more energy behind it. I can't see myself listening to this just by itself. Love the album art.
Wasn't expecting much, but I loved it. "Pussy Bubble OG" made me laugh out loud at first but I found myself jamming to it. GG my man, keep it up.
Not a huge fan of Montreal, although that album art is probably the best in the thread. Commercially Yours was much more up my alley, but it's so short that I don't have much more to say about it. I hope to see more of that type of stuff show up in your newer work.
Enjoyed the first track, the rest was kind of meh for me. Not much more to say really, not bad but somewhat lacking.
"Godzilla" was pretty cool, I liked how minimalist it was despite being very grimey. I also enjoyed the "Simon Says" sample very much.

Thank you! I guess the mixing on the first track is appropriate since it was mostly an improvisation, but I see what you mean. Glad you liked the rest though, I hope to have more coming real soon.
Jamais Vu is super cool, I love the kinda doomy/stoner rock vibe, but the electronics give it a really different flavor. Neat as heck.

It's like I'm really on Youtube in 2009 again looking for good hip hop and wading through shit like this.
>rythmic noise(ish)
Man, I dunno. There seems to be something completely off. The singing sometimes is just not good (e.g. the long notes on Florida). But then, I really liked Nothing Grows on Jupiter. Since the recording quality is not great (it's lo-fi after all) you could do some post production. Adding a small amount of reverb can make the stroking of guitars much more "dreamy" and can serve as a better basis for the vocals, but that's just me. After all, I like the ideas on Today How You Are.
Heavy stuff. Gives off a nujabes-vibe on some tracks. Pretty interesting stuff. I'll see what you're up to, I'd like to hear more.
The production is unreal. Holy fucking shit. The rapping sounds kind of unenthusiastic, but that doesn't have to be bad thing. Earl Sweatshirt pulls it off extremely well. I'll listen to both mixtapes. From what I've heard so far, the music is incredible. The samples are fitting in so well. I'm kinda blown away.
Skipping through the tracks feels strange. The beats all have something. The samples are nice and the drum patterns engaging, but every track is so very different from the next that I kinda feel lost. I guess that's why it's "Alternating Ashar".
It kinda has a "noise-trance" feel to it. It looses texture due to some kind of modulation-effect (e.g. 4th track). I love what you did on the 5th track. Treating noise like a background instrument and more like an arp is a nice idea.
I love it. Guitars remind me of Sun Kil Moon. Was instantly humming along. Background singing on "Adulthood is.." was lovely even though it was a bit to loud and drowned out the lead vocal a bit. Didn't like "Black Money Scam". The guitar was growling in the background and didn't sound that good. The percussion elements seemed out of place.
You are a good singer and you should use that. "Pom" is a perfect example what your music could be!
>post-vaporwave
i was ready to shitpost you into oblivion but that single is kind of like post-vape so we cool for now
:D hope you like it mang. Y'already know i love green
