It's like I'm really on Youtube in 2009 again looking for good hip hop and wading through shit like this.

Man, I dunno. There seems to be something completely off. The singing sometimes is just not good (e.g. the long notes on Florida). But then, I really liked Nothing Grows on Jupiter. Since the recording quality is not great (it's lo-fi after all) you could do some post production. Adding a small amount of reverb can make the stroking of guitars much more "dreamy" and can serve as a better basis for the vocals, but that's just me. After all, I like the ideas on Today How You Are.

Heavy stuff. Gives off a nujabes-vibe on some tracks. Pretty interesting stuff. I'll see what you're up to, I'd like to hear more.

The production is unreal. Holy fucking shit. The rapping sounds kind of unenthusiastic, but that doesn't have to be bad thing. Earl Sweatshirt pulls it off extremely well. I'll listen to both mixtapes. From what I've heard so far, the music is incredible. The samples are fitting in so well. I'm kinda blown away.

Skipping through the tracks feels strange. The beats all have something. The samples are nice and the drum patterns engaging, but every track is so very different from the next that I kinda feel lost. I guess that's why it's "Alternating Ashar".

It kinda has a "noise-trance" feel to it. It looses texture due to some kind of modulation-effect (e.g. 4th track). I love what you did on the 5th track. Treating noise like a background instrument and more like an arp is a nice idea.

I love it. Guitars remind me of Sun Kil Moon. Was instantly humming along. Background singing on "Adulthood is.." was lovely even though it was a bit to loud and drowned out the lead vocal a bit. Didn't like "Black Money Scam". The guitar was growling in the background and didn't sound that good. The percussion elements seemed out of place.
You are a good singer and you should use that. "Pom" is a perfect example what your music could be!
