General Rumen Radev is leading after the first round, which is a surprise for most peope. He is a candidate backed up by the socialist (pro-russia) party. The candidate of the ruling party suffered a heavy loss. However there is a second round to be done.

Das rite boii

this, also the referendum initiated by what's essentially the embodiment of bydlo might pass, resulting in a shit voting system, low subsidies for parties (which will just prompt them to steal more) and mandatory voting (which was already implemented anyway).

before you get swatted again

Good, good. Is he a hardcore socialist, or just a left winger?

I personally cannot wait till Chechyans start killing ruski animals once again

Allahu Akabr

Nice triggering, bitch.
Also what's the point of this board except the discussion on foreign countries politics?

Tbh i think neither of this
I have the feeling that he is an angry ex-millitary jet pilot, that wants to get into politics for whatever the reason and the socialists are using him.

The trap didnt win

it was presidential elections

BSP (bulgarian socialist party) which is the former BKP (bulgarian communist party) put forth a general.
the largest party in parliament GERB (the E is for Europe) put forth a woman.

for vice president GERB put forth a general, and for vice president BSP put forth a woman

the result was rather close (about 30-30), but BSP won

next week there will be another election between just those two candidates

the PM of GERB said he will resign / call early parliament elections if their candidate didn't get in

there was a also a referendum vote on 3 questions, all of which the public approved

1- basically no coalitions, there can be only one ruling party in parliament (i think that's what it means anyway)

2- lower pay for politicians (per vote received), this one kind of doesn't work with the 1st one, as the problem was people were running as political parties (greens, etc) and getting a pathetic amount of votes, but it was still enough for them to get free money, now with the 1st one, this should not be a problem anyway

3- mandatory voting, the ruling (GERB) party passed some laws pretending it's put that in place, but really all they did was make is so if you don't vote twice in a row, you would have to fill in some paperwork until you could vote again (they even went around news agencies say how "we tried to make it as inconvenient as possible, so people would be encouraged to vote"

last thing, smth like this already happened before (and has been happening since the fall of communism), where a party gets elected democratically, and cucks go protest to remove it

also you can get more info and opinions in /balk/

tl'dr Boiko is getting hardly BTFO, in the referendum we stupidly voted for First-past-the-post voting. Maybe after a week, GERB will dissolve their mandate and we will have new parliament election which be a happening, especially if Hillary wins in the US of A, cuz then we must choose between the east and west which is shit, but if Trump wins, we will be ok, cuz he is not anti russians, which will make the opportunity to make our cunt. a bridge to the warming trade relationship between the east and west.

most bulgarians i know still support communism.

we will rise again together someday comrades
