Pleb

>artist names track after the special snowflake time signature they used for that track to make it absolutely clear that the track is a special snowflake 56/879 track and listeners pay attention to the Super complicated time signature instead of the song itself

>sample of vinyl crackling

>sample of an old-timey recording of a guy talking about kids smoking marijuana

Examples?

>EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

>song ends
>sound of someone getting out of a chair and walking out of the room

Come on man he literally tells you not to hate her

There's that Gorillaz song 5/4

>listening to music with someone in car

>they sing very loudly and exceptionally terribly

take five
15 step
5-5-7
5/4

broken social scene 7/4

Isn't 15 step a pun? It's in 15/8 or whatever but that's also the height of gallows, hence the line "15 steps then a sheer drop".

Guthrie govans....5's and 7's
Qotsa.....3s and 7s

Thanks for all the examples everyone .-. I usually barely hear what time signature something is, except when I'm playing real close attention.

>track is named after the singers penis length

>album cover is the drummers penis

...

>last song in the album finishes but there's half a minute to go
>after 20 seconds there are some quiet random noises

...

hehehehehehehauehauhahahah

They're always 5/4 and they're all based off of this classic standard

>album cover features the artist or the title

There's this guy at my work from Thailand who usually stands alone in a corner singing along to his cheesy Asian pop songs.

>last song in the album finishes but there's 22 minutes left
>after 20 minutes random noises start playing

fuck off autechre

>song ends with laughing

>music discussion dissolves into autists talking about time signatures

I'd hate to witness that.

>song starts with laughing

Feel good is still awesome tho

>album ends with an "ambient" "track"
Needed some filler to make it a proper LP huh?

The only thing I dislike about Tera Melos - Untitled

>live album
>audience starts clapping off beat and singing along

Google Eli Porter vs Envy

26 is dancier then 4

You can also just stop listening to pop rock

>live performance
>DJ adds to every song scratching to show that he's there because he's only on like a 3rd of their actual songs

Worst example I can think of is 26 Is Dancier Than 4 by TTNG

what song?

HAHA I BEAT YOU TO THE OBSCURE EMO BAND REFERENCING

Holy shit this is fuckin insane lmao

6/8 war - leftfield

Why is it always 5/4

7 arctic monkeys

CAN I GET A HELL YEAH?!

>Why is it always 5/4
3/4 is too mainstream, all other signatures are too complicated

5/4 is easier than 3/4

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Man, Jazz-Punk doesn't work at all. Sweet piano melodies with loud distorted guitars over it are like telling someone you love them in the most romantic way, while buttraping her mom.

Blues punk sounds a lot better

Maybe, but 3/4 is still too mainstream thanks to ballads and stuff.

fixed the link

Do you not like Zorn's stuff like Spy vs Spy?

That sounds wayy different

Ya but I'd consider it to have elements of punk and obviously jazz

Are there any other heavy jazz type groups like that?

THERE'S A FUCKING DOG IN HERE

A thing that bothers me is the phrase "peet peeve"

>Ya but I'd consider it to have elements of punk and obviously jazz
You're right, but I was for the most part saying that I think the piano and guitar in that song don't go along very well to me.
With free jazz, the music is more abrasive, the drums are more in the foreground and faster, just like how a lot of punk is very abrasive and fast. So that would probably work pretty well. Though I still have doubts if distorted guitars and loud trumpets can coexist in a song. I think not.

CUM, CUM, FUCKED APART IN HERE

I remember thinking this was clever when I was like fucking 9 years old, stick it up your ass

Wasn't being clever. Actually bothered by it

>electronic song does gradient from low to high frequency EQ filter

>ska punk
>metal core
>landfill indie (especially British 2000s-2010s scene)

Also when a pop artists gets describe as 'avant-garde' or 'experimental'

What do you think of code orange and converge?

>like Rosie O'Donnell at a bisexual bridal shower

sounds hot

*COUGH* grimes *COUGH*

I don't know about you guys but I fucking hate it when artist make songs based on other people
