Oh my god I love alternate history albums like these! Really looking forward to more, please keep us updated! Also, you should maybe make a blogspot for these, so there's a permanent home for 'em.
Tyler Brooks
That'll be saved for the 1972 album
Oi, thanks for the suggestion!
Chase Bennett
Since I don't wanna use any of Ringo's hit tracks anyone got a suggestion for Ringo's 1972 track?
Robert Wilson
I have a slightly different tracklist
Hold On Too Many People Heart of the Country Beware of Darkness Look at Me Teddy Boy Maybe I'm Amazed Isolation Early 1970 Back Seat of My Car I Live For You Remember Isn't It a Pity (version 2)
Brandon Cox
none honestly, at least when he was with the beatles they added some dank backing tracks/vocals, his solo stuff is unbareable, is it worth listening to 4 minutes of garbage every time you listen just for some alternate history project?
Kevin Cox
another alternate tracklist

Where's Venus and Mars?
literally anything from the s/t album
downloading op seems really fun!
Nicholas Bailey
The Albums That Never Were blog already did this, and better.
Isaiah Ward
My computer blocked your download as unsafe.
Nicholas Perez
Oh yeah, no doubt, but It's still fun to do
Grayson Campbell
Are you the same guy who posted something like this last week, called All Things Must Pass with the other Beatles photoshopped into the cover?
Gavin Price
how do these work? are you compiling b sides to create albums? are you dubbing beatles over other bands songs?
Ethan Hill
Yea, but I thought I would improve on that tracklist a bit
Colton Edwards
One two three four [cough] ONE TWO THREE FOUR
LET ME TELL YOU HOW IT WILL BE

Why are you still pairing 1971 Ram tracks with 1970 Plastic Ono band, All Things Must pass and McCartney songs? It doesn't make sense. You should stick to material recorded aprox the same timeframe
>Plastic Ono band + McCartney + All Things Must Pass + "It Don't Come Easy" >Imagine + Ram & Wildlife + "Bangladesh" + "Back Off Bugaloo" >Sometime in NY City + Red Rose Speedway + Living In The Material World + "Photograph" >Mind Games + Band On The Run + ???? + ??? >Walls and Bridges + Venus and Mars + Dark Horse + "Goodnight Vienna"
Then the next trick is choosing the songs that 1) sound like it could have been a Beatles song and 2) actually sound good together
For example, would John have tolerated trite like "Ram On"? Would Paul have thought "Mother" was not commercial enough? Are the under-produced POB and McCartney songs too different from the over-produced ATMP songs?
Thanks man, BTW, you mind making me some covers for Imagine, Living in the Material World, and Band On The Run?
Christopher Powell
...
Austin Reed
Ah nice, all I need is Imagine and Living in the Material World!
Chase Morgan
I just told you were to find em. Albums That Never Were already did this and made covers for them. Go there
I'm not OP.
Sebastian Myers
OP Here, making a 1980s album, anyone mind providing a cover?
Angel Fisher
>1980s album Ugh it's gonna be awful
Wyatt Roberts
Sadly yea, but fun
Mason Sanchez
The John and Paul songs are alright but the George and Ringo songs are terrible
Charles Rodriguez
Which is why I'll be using George's 1979 stuff
Cameron Jones
the s/t album? That was recorded throughout 1978, but not released until 1979. You should pair it up with Back To The Egg. Not sure what the John stuff could be, maybe acoustic Dakota demos.
Ethan Gutierrez
And for ringo?
Juan Adams
Doesn't seem to be anything for Ringo. Bad Boy was recorded in 1977, and then Stop and Smell The Roses in 1980.
Lincoln Smith
Fuck it, I'll just use Bad Boy for now
All I need is a good cover
Ryder Perry
i like this one

Just curious, since the folder says Early 70's Beatles albums, does that mean there'll be a followup series for the rest of the decade?

Asher Young
Ooh what did ya compile?
Nolan Gutierrez
It'll include Free as a Bird for sure
Chase Campbell
Awesome! I'd personally include Real Love as well but hey, it's whatever you choose~
