I'm adding new tracks in the near future and a few tracks I left off.
New album is out NOW
also check it out on Spotify
>instrumental
>post-rock/math-rock
>jazz fusion
loving this. perfect vibes.
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it!
I like yours too. It kind of reminds me of Blank Banshee but isn't too heavy on the vaporwave sound. It's very nice and chill, I especially like the 808s and old drum machines.

is there a second bc thread? usually thse fill up in minutes
nope
Always this. Always

I am liking the organ tones, are these legit organs or VSTi's? Definitely enjoying the nice atmosphere created, I think lots of ambient these days focus on a darker sound, and this is a bit more refreshing and hopeful sounding.
I like the tones, "He's Close" is my favorite. I just wish that the drum machine on "Chilling at Frank's" wasn't as vintage and dated as it sounds. I know that's kinda the aesthetic point, but I personally have grown weary of that sort of sound. Other than that, I like the synth tones. "Soft Light" is another highlight, what synth did you use for that particular track??
My stuff:

>art rock, post-punk influenced, some elements of dream pop and noise rock depending on the track, mid-fi
>(This is kind of relaxing actually)
You are too kind, also I still listen to the stuff you made when you were Zenosyne, good stuff.
Thanks for listening! On this album I've used electric organs and the sound went though digital and analog effects so it might seem a bit VST's
Yeah, I remember you! Keep up a good work buddy!

Thanks! I used a MicroKorg for the vast majority of the album, Soft Light was made entirely on the MicroKorg too.
I had trouble finding a good drum sound for Chilling so I had to go with my first choice.

Just released a brand new album, hope you guys can check it out and let me know what you think of it!
Recs:
Remember your previous stuff, these new tracks are good. I like the concept and atmosphere you are going for in these ones.
This one also has a great atmosphere and concept too, very relaxing tones and some interesting sounds too.
Great riffs on this, vocals are really good also. Lots of variances between the tracks, the lyrics are also interesting too.

Me: Do you cut mouses in half often for album covers?
It's a bit undewhelming for noisy music, you could turn the instruments up a bit.
YES LORD
I've also made a new album, a second "Évtizedekre ottfelejtett gyűlölet" album, but the last song needs vocals.

Description:
"Welcome to Hotel Songs. Please, enjoy your stay. I have been delivered to relay information and guidelines pertaining to your album listening experience. Hotel Songs is not to be listened to loudly, or on headphones. It is instead recommended that you find a small, clean, and well lit room in which to take residence, and a set of speakers through which to play your copy of Hotel Songs. Enjoy the album at low volumes, and let your mind wander. Are you ready? Well then, let us commence Hotel Songs.
I'll see you three nights from now."
- Eric Taxxon
As we stumble into the charade of luxury that often comes with a hotel, we often find ourselves resting well in an odd state of ambiguity and vagueness. In his second effort for Jacob And Friends, Eric Taxxon brings an album that displays that faux luxury that often we absolve ourselves into, all viewed through a lens of lush and repetitive minimal techno, intending on delivering a cozy experience to the listener.
Now available for stream and download!
Support, scrobble, or review on RYM. Any feedback of any kind would be greatly appreciated. And give Eric some love. Thank You. :)
Will still be accepting submissions for the label.

Spent a lot of time on this over the past year and a bit. Hopefully you guys
enjoy! I learned a lot about audio production and put a lot of focus on trying
to add a bit of complexity to songs within the context of a typical pop formula.

> comfy as fuck. Love the synths you're using. Love the beats. Easy rec here.
It's fine with or without somebody rapping over it, but I think someone ought
to collab with you. Not me though because I can't rap.

Like presidents is a GOAT track imo. Sometimes your sound borders
on the partytime indie rock radio sound that I'm not a big fan of, but then
you pull out these wistful bursts of melancholy and it sucks me right back in.
There's some really solid songwriting here, though I'm not as into the slower tracks.
Definitely gonna check out your next release because it could be something that I really like.
Also if you guys tour then you should come to toronto.
also excuse my weird formatting. I write these things out in notepad before posting so I can have actually think about things.
I enjoyed the song Pin Drop. There is a short descending keyboard melody that pops up a few times that kind of reminds me of Animal Crossing. I dig that kind of lazy, sunday walking music.
Nice dreamy instrumentals with sinister undertones, which is what I'm into
Interesting sounds. Keep going, you have your own lane. Kinda reminds me of grimey massive attack
Nice sunny morning vibes
