Looks like 1979 is on pretty much everyone's top 5

when everyones list has 1979

I WONT DENY THE PAIN, I WONT DENNNNNY THE CHANGE

It's one of the greatest songs of all time. Regardless of what Billy thinks.

Does everyone listen to this album with the tracks in order of the vinyl release?

I hope so. If not, youre missing out.

oh shit this has been one of my favorites since high school I don't think I do this

Oh shit man, I gotta do this now i wasn't even aware the vinyl release had a different track listing

this

what is the last track (infinite sadness)?

cheers, assumed that it was probably an extended version of that

just deleted that cause not actually sure now

No. The bonus tracks are straight up garbage and the track order is retarded

1979
Bodies
Tonight, Tonight
Porcelina of the Vast Oceans
Zero

It's the song "Infinite Sadness". it's a boring melotron-driven instrumental that was a crappy Siamese Dream outtake.

beautiful

Tonight, Tonight
Bodies
X.Y.U
Stumbleine

You don't seem to understand.

I take the CD version and reorder the tracks so they are the same as the vinyl version.

The extra tracks on the vinyl version do not matter because they are nonexistent on the CD version. There are no extra tracks on the CD version.

>0/10
Not possible

Then that's not the vinyl version is it?

You are beyond retarded

Can you imagine putting songs in an order that resembles the vinyl version? That's what I do.

I don't know how to explain it any better. I'm sorry.

So you misspoke

Yes I did

1. Here Is No Why
2. Zero
3. 1979
4. We Only Come out at Night
5. Farewell and Goodnight

;-; im sorry i just really like the first half

Here Is No Why
Porcelina of the Vast Oceans

Jellybelly

Why is the vinyl for this so fucking expensive? Fuck, why are all Smashing Pumpkin vinyls so fucking expensive?

And I just looked it up, it's not even the original vinyl track listing. WTF?

hey I actually have this album rated song by song and have listened to it 40+ times all the way through so heres a list from an "expert"

>1979
>Muzzle
>Beautiful
>By Starlight
>We Only Come Out at Night

Here's the album with the vinyl tracklist and bonus tracks.

You didn't man, the guy responding is beyond retarded as anyone could have assumed you reordered the tracks as the same as the vinyl listing, i did anyway

You literally said in your original post you put them in order of the track listing, So you didn't misspeak.

This particular manner of being retarded is called being "intellectually dishonest."

i'm not really a big SP fan at all desu, but cupid de locke is one of my favorite songs ever

In order

>Porcelina Vast Oceans
>Tonight Tonight
>Thirty Three
>Cupid De Locke

I love the guitar ending

this fucking hurts to do, this was my favorite album when i was a depressed addict in my early 20s. also jimmy chamberlain is a god.

Galapogos - just a god tier song when you'e done spiraling and settling deeply into depression.
>and rescue me from me, and all that i believe

Tonight Tonight - great for when you get that fleeting feeling of hope
>believe in me like i believe in you

Zero - the numbness of life. when i was addicted to spice this was my zombied-out song
>im in love with my sadness

Cupid de Locke - this song is just endlessly endearing to me, i love the music, it feels like im in a medieval ballroom watching minstrels dance and shit. it's almost like the place i wanted drugs to take me to.
>we seek the unseekable and speak the unspeakable

Thru the Eyes of Ruby - this song is perfect. i dont really know what else to say about it
>to appear to disappear beneath your darkest fears
