Do you people actually have a problem with the song "Creep" or are you just bandwagoning because Thom is pissy about it?

It's legitimately shit. It's 7th grade faux-individualistic angsty rubbish that tries to cash in on grunge, a movement that even at its best was only mediocre.

i still really enjoy it

Nah, it's objectively a good song.

This guy is an idiot.

Creep is a great song. Muplebs hate it because it's played on the radio which is a bozo no no.

I mean, it's not garbage, but it's not good

most if not all of the songs that they made after pablo honey are better than creep

Is someone who likes Creep really calling me a contrarian?

This is a surreal experience.

Has post-irony gone too far?

Most normies like Creep. People who don't are weird and contrarian. Is this really a new experience for you?

It's really catchy, and at the end of the day, the song that sticks in your head the most wins. Tell me you dont remember the exact pitch and vocal changes when he goes RUUUUUUUUUNNNN

Pablo Honey is still my favourite Radiohead album

>Is this really a new experience for you?
I don't tend to talk to normies about Radiohead.

So yes. Yes it is.

My second after The Bends.

>In Rainbows is 3

Even that guitar intro is immediately recognizable.

The Beatlesesque bassline

>duh duh duhduh duh

I hope you're kidding but mostly I feel bad.

With the exception of a few song I find most of their other stuff just really dry

The Bends is my fav I'd say, with Rainbows Second and OK third

BOIIIIII IF THOM AINT HAPPY THEN I AINT HAPPY

Some people are able to be individuals who make up their own minds and form unique opinions... and you talk about empathy lol

Also high

Actually what

>faux-individualistic

you know how I know you're gay

Likely above your reading level.

clickhole.com/article/oral-history-radioheads-ok-computer-2370

Today I learned that homosexuality is the gateway to a larger vocabulary.

Well that's not wrong. There's a shitload of gay slang words.

>liking creep
>contrarian

You need to get the fuck of off Sup Forums and spend some time in the real
World.

have you tried playing it on any instrument its fucking boring

Nah, the build up to the chorus is good and the melodies are solid but everything else is just ok

but Radiohead is popular and have enough fans that it's become an "inside joke" in the whole fanbase to hate creep

Which is the standard opinion here which means its contrarian to like it

THIS. it doesn't matter what most people think, creep is a bad song. the reason the band is playing it is more like a commemoration or perspective or something exquisite about going back and listening to the kitschy slop that thrust them into the position they are in the first place

literally the only radiohead """""""rock""""""""" radio DJs know

It's a good song but not anywhere near the best Radiohead so the fact that it's popular is actually kinda annoying.

It's pleb as fuck. Maybe if you just discovered Radiohead and listen to their poppiest songs possible you might like it.

i just want you to know opinions on music also exist outside of Sup Forums

> it doesn't matter what most people think, creep is a bad song.
wew lad

Creep is a fine song. It's not in any way a bad song. It stands out as not only being a British answer to grunge that wasn't britpop, but also hints at the innovation that would make Radiohead critical darlings. The quiet-loud dynamic borrowed from the Pixies would be seen all over The Bends and OK Computer, but Creep was a good trial run before classics like Fake Plastic Trees and Paranoid Android. Jonny's decision to play those crunchy chords right before the chorus- due to boredom- is both hilarious and catchy, and a sign of the innovation he would bring to the band's sound.

The band can hate on it all they want, but it's not a bad song. They've written much better since then, of course, but it stands as a strong testament to the kind of band Radiohead wanted to be- something different than what's on the British radio.

At least Creep is sincere and not pretentious, unlike the rest of their discography.

>sincerity only exists inside my safe status quo bubble made out of tangible cliches

It's an alright song. Not my favorite song even from Pablo Honey, but one of the very few from it I would consider to be somewhat above average.

still funny

creep is actually really good

it's good. not great, just good. I understand why Thom dislikes because it doesn't come close to the quality of their later material but it's still a good song in it's own right

It's a pretty good song, I just fucking hate it cos I've heard it so much. I can't listen to it any more.

Reading through this thread though, jesus christ it's so hard to be a fan of Radiohead when you faggots exist. Has to be one of the most phenomenally overrated bands of the last 20 years.
>Kid A was a 7.5/10

>Muplebs hate it because it's played on the radio which is a bozo no no.
Sup Forums creams itself over Kanye, Beyonce, and other mainstream trash that's popular on the radio. Sup Forums decries plebs because they are in denial about the fact that they themselves are plebs.

the fucking guitar chug that comes in before the hook

>ctrl+f The Air That I Breathe
>no results
Wut

fucking kek

...

Blow out > creep

Nah, It's a pretty cool song

It's good. This album is good. but it is also one of their worst.

This. Blow Out, Anyone Can Play Guitar, You and Ripcord are all bangers.

>one of

creep is a bad song
(sent from Thom's computer)

OK, computer

Creep is an enjoyable song. Whether you think it's good or not is up to you.

The real debate is which is better, Kid A or In Rainbows?

>At least Creep is sincere
its not though, its more sentimental,

>the pixies
