>Hotel Songs
>Santa Cruz, Ambient, EDM, Electronic, House, Minimal House, Minimal Techno, Music To Play Volleyball To, Progressive House, Trip Hop.

Description:
"Welcome to Hotel Songs. Please, enjoy your stay. I have been delivered to relay information and guidelines pertaining to your album listening experience. Hotel Songs is not to be listened to loudly, or on headphones. It is instead recommended that you find a small, clean, and well lit room in which to take residence, and a set of speakers through which to play your copy of Hotel Songs. Enjoy the album at low volumes, and let your mind wander. Are you ready? Well then, let us commence Hotel Songs.

I'll see you three nights from now."
- Eric Taxxon

As we stumble into the charade of luxury that often comes with a hotel, we often find ourselves resting well in an odd state of ambiguity and vagueness. In his second effort for Jacob And Friends, Eric Taxxon brings an album that displays that faux luxury that often we absolve ourselves into, all viewed through a lens of lush and repetitive minimal techno, intending on delivering a cozy experience to the listener.

Now available for stream and download!

Support, scrobble, or review on RYM. Any feedback of any kind would be greatly appreciated. And give Eric some love. Thank You. :)

Will still be accepting submissions for the label.

This is pretty different from anything else I've seen going around these threads. You've done well with creating an interesting theme and music to go perfectly with it.

>ambient synthpop, vintage synths used

I'm adding new tracks in the near future and a few tracks I left off. I'm quite excited that I've managed to tap back into the original groove of the album to make more like it.

Does IKWYAAYAN even still post in BC threads?

stop and be genuine instead of this gimmick shit

> Projekto Sendecida - Santa Fe, Argentina
> psychedelic, instrumental, first wave post rock

We have a new studio album called Projekto de Bombas, made in collaboration with Pradera de Bombas, a band we're friends with and share one member. So this is a different album for us.

projektosendecida.bandcamp.com/album/projekto-de-bombas
Check out also our other albums:

projektosendecida.bandcamp.com/music

projektosendecida.bandcamp.com/album/el-vac-o-del-gaucho
projektosendecida.bandcamp.com/album/zapadas-vol-2

El Vacio Del Gaucho (2015) was composed over several months and, while recorded 'live' (simultaneously) it has overdubs and some studio trickery.
Our jam albums Zapadas vol 1 and 2 are selections of completely raw recordings and 100% improvised music made just for fun but are pretty nice albums in themselves. Then there's the debut self titled album from 2012.

>guitar based ambient, tape loops, warm drone

Just put up Coldharvest tapes for sale. In other news, I'm playing with a drummer and am leaning in a more post-rock and shoegaze sound. I've redone Frost in a more post-rock leaning style and hope to rerecord it.

I figured I'd post this here, it'd be nice to get some feedback in some way.

I'm currently working on some bonus tracks for a potential tape release early next year on a label a friend of mine is starting. If anyone wants to hear any of those so far (there are currently 2 and may be more when you reply) feel free to reply to this and I'll up it to clyp.it or something.

experimental, hip-hop, "sneakergaze"

This is sweet. I like the production on the drums, a little fill in here and there wouldn't hurt but just my two cents.

I won't say much as i've only gave a cursory listen and this is ambient music, but coldharvest sounds like something i'd like to drift off to. I also checked out the peppermint tea reissue and it reminded me of some of GY!BE's drone/ambient movements, which is up my alley. I'll give them both a proper listen after downloading.

>fuzzy ambient inspired by coastal living, "beach-ambient"

Was put off at first by the opening track but after further listening this is definitely a grower. Great album art too.

First, I really enjoy your work. Sky Simplified was SUPER comfy and Hotel Songs is pretty fun . Any chance of more dancey projects like Fymynob and some of the tracks on HS?

Yeah I felt the same way when I first found this guy, but he makes some pretty good stuff.

>Drone, EAI, Bass

It's me again.

Really digging this. Love the cover art. When the bass comes in on the opener, the mood changes entirely...it becomes so ominous and foreboding. Sun Generator is also really great. I like how you mix cleaner synths with the lofi samples.

Not bad at all. The instrumental on the second track is really trippy, and the vocals are tight.

Neat stuff. Your newest song reminds me of The Microphones vocal-wise, and Neutral Milk Hotel guitar-wise (mostly On Avery Island). Very well written songs.

Your name, album cover, and album title are so ridiculously edgy it's a bit hard to take seriously. I don't like the vocals much at all, but the riffs are very dark and very tight. If you cleaned up the production a bit it'd be great. Keep it up.

Really cool, love the build up and pay off on "Ends to a Mean." The guitarwork is godly, and the drumming is great. Gonna check out the rest of your stuff.

Kind of reminds me of Earl Sweatshirt's newest album, production-wise. Very unsettling atmosphere, I dig it. Creative and unique.

This is very relaxed and has some good drones, but it's overall pretty same-y and none of the tracks really stand out. I'm definitely looking forward to your new release, though.

This is pretty interesting, I'll have to give it a listen when it's dark. Atmospheric, to say the least.

Loved this. Hope you're able to find the musicians you're looking for. Love how distorted the end of the first track gets, without sounding terrible. Good production overall.

Pretty good stuff. Love the intro to "Dig It," great songwriting and I like the vocals a lot.

Cool, unique sounding stuff. Wasn't really into the vocal delivery but the droney beats are great.

The album art for this is really neat. Sounds almost like something from The Caretaker. Very unique approach to drone/ambient music.

Eric here. I made a companion EP for hotel songs called Motel Songs that I didn't release on jacob's label because its like 14 minutes long. Its pretty dancy at points.
