90% OF KIDS have turned to avant-garde, experimental, and contemporary classical. post in this thread if you’re on the 10% of kids who still listen to POP MUSIC.
>you say Diamanda Galas, I say DEMI LOVATO >you say Sun City Girls, I say MARINA AND THE DIAMONDS you do know Marina's last name is Diamandis right?
Gavin Brooks
So Death Grips are like today's Devo right? I've been trying to work out the formula.
Adam Adams
wut fuck no
they're more like today's Nirvana seriously
Eli Ramirez
nah m8 devo are actually good
Camden Rivera
As in Nirvana was to the radio/MTV and the bored disaffected kids consuming it, Death Grips are to the internet and internet culture and the bored disaffected kids consuming it? I could get with that.
Jose Wright
pretty much although the new album is very rock/metal
William Cox
>implying Death Grips will ever become mainstream and actually influential
Caleb Murphy
>le deep weebz >third worlds is down! 0_0
its as cringe as mr robot dont tell me you eat that shit up too ffs
Hunter Hernandez
why are you letting other people dictate what you do
Julian Cox
You say Swans, I say Lil "Yung" Jizza You say Death Grips, I say Lil "Yung" Jizza You say Grimes, I say Lil "Yung" Jizza You say 21 Pilots, I say Lil "Yung" Jizza
Jace Stewart
>disaffected although I disagree with this wording although it may have different connotations for us. I did not consider any Nirvana fan when they were actually around to be disaffected. If anything it was all the happy go lucky party dudes who were just coming off of Metallica rather than Aerosmith or something
I like Spread Eagle Cross The Block, I've Seen Footage, Lord Of The Game, and I guess maybe Get Got.
I don't really like Death Grips, do I?
Asher Reed
If Mr Robot is the big technology cringe example you could come up with, I'm gonna guess you've watched like three episodes of any show ever.
Hunter Scott
" The act of going from Sup Forums to Urban Dictionary to look up words that don't make sense. "Dave is such a cuck! He's jumping from site to site, Mexican Sugar Dancing!" "Yeah Brycen, we'll have him doing that all night!" "
God fucking damn it.
Carson Perez
That's what I'm saying. I don't even know anybody like 18-24 who even watches TV, let alone listens to the radio beyond maybe at work or something.
Justin Russell
heh
I bet you think Sup Forums isn't mainstream neither
Adrian Kelly
I think the most accurate comparison we could find would simply be show capacities. When Nirvana toured for In Utero they were playing arenas albeit the more modest ones. The kind that would have like monster truck stuff or something, not stadiums. At least not that I knew about but maybe they did.
