ITT: Guitar interplay-core

Bands with great dual guitar work. Songs where the guitar parts work well together more than they would separately.

King crimson's Discipline era, Fripp and belew were a god tier duo

>he listens to music for guitar
Pleb

>he can't appreciate both guitar and the hammered dulcimer
Pleb

Belew/Fripp has to be one of the best guitar duos of all time

Marquee moon!

Pearl Jam has a lot of those. But the first one that comes time is Even Flow.

Any Froberg/Reis band had this.
Drive Like Jehu had some god-tier interplay

If Sup Forums can't agree that Rust in Peace is solid gold, I don't know if peace will ever be achieved.

Fugazi had god tier interplay too, also counting the fucking godly bass rhythm section

Lee Ranaldo and Thurston Moore had some of the best interplay of the 80s

Pete Shelley and Steve Diggle's guitar plays are so fucking underrated. They did what Television did but in 3 minutes instead of 10.

Honestly The Smiths had some great guitar interplay between Johnny Marr and another guitar track Johnny Marr recorded. I don't know how he did it

In the case of How Soon is Now, backwards.

Fugazi had excellent guitar interplay from two otherwise mediocre guitarists. Lots of music from this scene has great dual guitar work.

The Chameleons made some beautiful proto-Shoegaze walls of sound with two guitars and some reverb and delay pedals
