No
I like Operation Ivy but Tim Armstrong's down syndrome singing in Rancid turned me off on them. But yeah, Streetlight and OpIvy are dope as fuck.
in high school yes
man i love this album
those lines where the music sort of stops and he just says cool shit
Wake up, turn my box on, bust the shade, let the sun in
times getting tougher 'bout time to start running
Box in my hand, music by my side
Skanking to the rhythm of the music by my side
Just one political song to drop into the list this is years and years long
Static and division is increasing like a storm
We are sheltered
We are forewarned
Nothing can be changed except ourselves
Nothing can be changed except ourselves
etc.
>kablam theme song

i'm not wild about Jesse's new stuff - i.e. Common Rider.
SKA SUCKS
What is this fucking Mario Kart music
Objectively the only good ska-punk album.
>Mario Kart music
I got you senpai
2 Tone > First-wave Ska > Ska Punk > Third-wave Ska
i love sea-punk
I listen to it as a guilty pleasure some times, mostly for nostalgia's sake.
I think most of the music is pretty terrible, but it's fun to reminisce. Everyone has gone through a ska phase at one point or another
I'm pretty picky about it but Operation Ivy is the golden standard. The Mighty Mighty Bosstones are a second place for me, even though I wouldn't call them ska-punk as opposed to just third wave
Reel Big Fish is pretty bad
Operation Ivy, Madness, La Plebe (yes, that's a real band), The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, and The Redskins are great bands. I don't really like No Doubt or Goldfinger, but they did have some fun singles. Streetlight Manifesto is ridiculously overrated, but they had nice songs, too. But for the most part no, it's too goofy for me.
It's alright but crackrock is a lot better, and besides ska punk died with the third wave.
common rider is boring.
Jesse's newer band, classics of love, is much better. He is backed by the members of hard girls.
