Best qotsa album?

Best qotsa album?

Songs for the Deaf drags a bit but is overall very good. ...Like Clockwork has one half that's much better than the other, but is also good.

Also note that Songs for the Deaf is a must for any car stereo CD collection.

Songs for the Deaf followed closely by ...Like Clockwork.

Rated R is very intense and mever drags but for me songs of the death is a lot stronger in lyrical quality and how it can still rock so hard

There first self titled album is up there

Avon is one of the best rock songs of all time in my opinion

i enjoy all of their albums. they are the best modern mainstream rock band by far.

True

torn between Songs for the Deaf and Like Clockwork

R > SFTD > S/t > Like Clockwork > Lullabies >>> Era Vulgaris

Welcome to Sky Valley

this nigga knows

Really love the sound on their self titled album. I don't think they ever went back to that style and I'm cool with that but I think songs like Give the Mule What He Wants and How to Handle a Rope are some of their strongest material. Plus that album cover is pretty baller.

it's between songs for the deaf and rated r.
i'd have to give it to rated r for bringing qotsa more into the limelight.

Fite me

Why? That's a good ass album.

Song For The Deaf and Like Clockwork are equal in my eyes. Both amazing albums.

It's in their top 3, and I'm usually serious when I post it. Everyone thinks I'm b8 though, because the era vulgaris hate circlejerk is strong here.

Whichever is the shortest one.

Yo, Rated R is their best. The overall theme of that album is genius, more so than the gimmick of Song for the Deaf with the whole car radio bullsh!t.

...Like Clockwork is good too, but it's a lil' tame by QOTSA standards. Nothing bad, but it's why SFTD and Rated R shine out so much in comparison.

Era vulgaris is the only good one

Era Vulgaris.
I'm yet to find a song that gave me feels like River in the Road did.

...Like Clockwork is a close second, though.

let's not forget other 10/10 moments on the album

>Don't you wanna go into the hollow?
>I won't go alone, aren't you gonna follow?

>the wailing guitar on "Into the Hollow"

>entire "Suture up your future", "Turnin' on the Screw"

>2:20 minute mark at "River in the Road"

>"3's and 7's" solo

it's just "Make it wit chu" that kinda ruins the album's mood, to be honest
