ETIQUETTE - Include correct format (artist / band, title of release, year of release, cover art, the file type (v0, 320 mp3, FLAC, etc), short description, YouTube sample, link) - Send thanks if you have downloaded something to let them know they did a good thing - Avoid sharing / requesting things that are already on the archive - Soulseek /rutracker are your friends, too - just don't argue in this thread about it - no samples on Youtube, Soundcloud? Drag'n'drop any MP3 on clyp.it
REQUESTS >I have a request! Did I... - Check the archive for a live link before requesting? - Share something first? - google "blogspot + artist name + album name"
ARCHIVE >"I don't know how to find what I'm looking for in the archive" - Go here: archive.rebeccablacktech.com/mu/ - When searching, limit your search to links only, like so: "desired album mega|zippyshare|mediafire" - Make sure you've typed "zippyshare" and not "zippy", or else Zippyshare links will not be found.
I was uploading this for an user in another board but it took forever and the thread ended up dying before I could share. Didn't super want to waste it so may as well dump it here.
This is a pretty much complete collection of the webcomic Pictures for Sad Children, archived from before the creator's breakdown and subsequent wipe of all material from the internet. There's a lot of side projects, small one offs from their tumblr and whatever. Good reading. Pretty sad but mostly funny. Whatever.

>Request: Vince Staples' Prima Donna EP Chill/dark hip hop, Nujabes, Dilla, Madlib, the stuff Earl raps over, etc. Stuff like the Microphones, especially the first three songs off The Glow Pt.2. Whatever stuff you believe should be part of my library but isn't. Mind you this isn't everything I've ever listened to, just what I downloaded.
All of this either 320 or V0. I'll up whatever's not already linked.
Will up.

Gonna share some old ones and then a couple new ones (These are all in the archive but most people are lazy)
I'm requesting anything like the stuff I'm sharing, stopped looking for new music for a while
>School of Seven Bells - SVIIB >2016 Very dreamy indie rock. The guitarist died in 2013, so this is just as much a memorial to him as it is a fantastic album. Give it a listen, it grows on you.
>Passion Pit - Kindred >2015 You've probably heard of Passion Pit. Lovely indie pop that may be just a bit too saccharine for some people. Not as good as their 2nd album, IMO, but still a solid album.
Could you upload Sufjan Stevens - Michigan if you have it in 320 or FLAC? Thanks
Blake Lee
You already asked, I think. I said I don't.

>Pacific Air - Stop Talking >2013 I've heard this described as 'the most generic indie music possible' - I don't disagree, but it's also one of the best. Good for walks along a waterfront.
>St Lucia - Matter >2016 St Lucia's sophomore album, this one does have some misses, and it also has some amazing tracks. Dancing on Glass is the best song of 2016.
Also, is one of my running albums, highly recommend. Better for running on cold days.
Angel Perez
requesting more baroque pop if you have any!

LCD Soundsystem - Where is Love (20??) >rare LCD song, has a random video on youtube with 3k views, appears in "Casey Neistat's Wildly Functional Studio", appears on no albums >So I have it listed as track 01 on Introns. It's not true but it works for me >mp3 mega.nz/#!tgFx1ZZb!gFIeskznPH4kLs6XBWSo_a79AtQmMXpKozjVOhG5KXc
What is even the point of these threads now that spotify exists
Jordan Ortiz
spotify is for gays only
Brayden Rodriguez
Spotify is shit and not every release is there, also it's better to have your music offline and build your own collection (even if it's pirated music)

Sup Forums share threads is not pirating

For me, two reasons.
One, you can get a lot of stuff that's so obscure that it can't be found on streaming services.
Two, I like having my music on my hard disk: I'm a producer, I sample often.
Also, while this isn't really much of a reason, I like the atmosphere of these threads. Everyone sharing what they got, much less fuckers than the rest of Sup Forums.
To whichever user posted the NDW comp in the last thread, thanks, it's great

High Rise >Heavy Psych, Noise Rock, Psychedelic Rock >High Rise was a noise rock band from Tokyo, Japan formed in 1982. John Mayall's Bluesbreakers >Blues Rock, British Blues >Throughout the '60s, John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers acted as a finishing school for the leading British blues-rock musicians of the era. Guitarists Eric Clapton, Peter Green, and Mick Taylor joined his band in a remarkable succession in the mid-'60s, honing their chops with Mayall before going on to join Cream, Fleetwood Mac, and the Rolling Stones, respectively. John McVie and Mick Fleetwood, Jack Bruce, Aynsley Dunbar, Dick Heckstall-Smith, Andy Fraser (of Free), John Almond, and Jon Mark also played and recorded with the band for varying lengths of times in the '60s.
