My Mum mentions it sometimes, and it's a really uncomfortable topic. My Grandparents are active and healthy and happy and they seem in great shape but I know my Grandfather is getting very old and his mind may be as sharp as when he was in his 20s but he's worked manual labour for over 70 years and that takes a toll on the body.

Met a man at Leeds festival called Phil. He was a chemical engineer for a refrigerator fluid manufacturing company. He said he got paid very well to sit in a room like Homer Simpson and wait for something to go wrong that barely ever did so he could handle it. Told me he loved it because he loves learning, so he got paid well to just sit, alone, and learn something new. He's been teaching himself everything from science to languages to using a yo-yo. Suited him very well and he was on 6 figures.
