>liberate Cuba from fascist rulers
>was good friend of Russian people
>give people jobs housing and health care
>eliminated poverty
>stood up to US aggression and CIA assassination attempt
Why are Americans celebrate Castro's death? He was good leader
he's been dead for a loooooong time. we killed him already but we couldn't admit it and the cubans just replaced him with a body double.
Because americans are either shit people or incredibly ignorant.
dis thred gun be gud
Batista wasn't a facist and he sure as shit didn't end poverty. If he did half of south Florida wouldn't be cuba diaspora.
I don't know why i even took the b8
>either shit people or incredibly ignorant.
that about sums up your "people"
Batista was not fascist, but was the worst dictator ever. This retard was even illiterate.
>Batista wasn't a facist
Batista died in Fascist Spain, yes he was
Awful lot of commies on this site
OP is just a brainwashed dumb vatnik though.
Imagine going to Cuba pre Castro.
>Historian Neill Macaulay also recounted his time in Havana: "The whorehouses I visited ... The girls, all teenagers, were dressed in shorts and halters. All were white and several blonde, though their eyes were unmistakably Latin. It was a place where American high-school and college boys of the 1950s came to relieve their sexual tensions in surroundings that were not forbiddingly foreign." This must have been what John Sayles had in mind in his novel Los Gusanos (1991) when he wrote of the "Casa de Rock, "where boys from the University of Miami would come to fuck little blonde Cuban girls who spoke good English and wore ponytails and blue jeans just like the little blonde girls they were afraid to fuck back home."
Oh Ivan you silly pig you
only people who care about this are miami cubans, who left cuba because castro took away their slave plantations
nobody else gives a shit
>Spain
>Fascist

Franco didn't think so
why don't you give up your access to the internet, freedom of the press, right to private property and go live there then?
>Share your opinion but brings you some things perspective
>Be called a commie
Meh typical Burger debate
>give people jobs, housing, and health care
[citation needed]
>eliminated poverty
[citation needed]
>stood up to US aggression and CIA assassination attempt
Not much of an accomplishment, they're too busy with threats in the middle east.
And suppressing US citizens.
This.
It is mind boggling that you people actually had an empire at one point.
samefag
>why don't you give up your access to the internet, freedom of the press, right to private property
OP is Russian. He only has one of those three things.
>was good friend of Russian people
because he was a communist that was supported by the Soviet Union.
If you think the Soviets were the good guys during the Cold War then of course you would like Castro.
I think sensible people should see that both right-wing and left-wing dictators of the Cold War killed their political opposition so the only thing that matters is whether you prefer a communist or capitalist world.
Imo it's a good thing the West won the Cold War and if it weren't for anti-communist dictators like Pinochet or Batista or Syngman Rhee we probably would have lost it.
The US also withdrew support for authoritarian regimes as the Cold War was ending. Russia has never done that and Putin just praised Castro as a good guy and a friend of Russia.
