The Norwegian government spends 45k a year per person. That's crazy. They could scrap all income and sales taxes to let their populace actually experience their immense national wealth in their own individual pursuit, all the while still having government spending that rivals any other top tier country, but instead they spend, spend, tax and spend and for what? some fleeting sense of superiority and equality that is only represented by a marginal benefit compared to it's peers.
