Apparently there was a study done with UK drivers and cyclists and it found that drivers will drive closer to cyclists in bike lanes than cyclists who aren't in bike lanes. I try to give cyclists as much room as I can.
That's not to say that cyclists are angels. Some cyclists are cunts and ignore things like stop signs, red lights, and roundabouts. They then get hit by buses or trucks and then moan on social media about it
