I am beginning to study Japanese, reason being that I am drawn to Japan for unknown reasons, and 2 weeks ago I went on the Wikipedia page for Kanji (aswell as all related pages I could find like manyogana, kana, japanese grammar, japanese dialects, furigana, pages related to chinese influence on kanji readings, ainu language and tunguistic pages for some reason and so on for few dozen pages) and thought it seemed to be a highly interesting language and Im especially interested in learning kanji but of course I will cover the entire language.
So far I am studying the Kana, both Katakana and Hiragana at once, learning stroke order and such shit also.
Right now I am on H* kana after 1.5 - 2 weeks irregular study but I feel I have been progressing slowly due to not studying more actively and lacking resources other than pen and paper.

Anyway Im wondering about how I should progress after the Kana.
Instintictively I would want to dl some textbook(s) for grammar coupled with some SRS for vocabulary and learn all Kanji radicals and every Kanji I encounter along with their stroke order, all readings & meanings.
Is it good idea or am I being too kctier about this? I want to approach it in nerdlike manner, especially the Kanji because it is one of most attractive features of the language for me.
