Telstra charged me out the ass all the time so I went with Optus, they were cheaper but their service was poorer so I went with a 3rd party provider who gave better value with the same level of support Optus gave.

Also, NBN isn't that great. when I had it, it was always going down at shit times and I was right next to the exchange.

I love them to be honest, no contracts, great value. I started off with 30GB/month and they just kept giving me extra data every year at no extra cost.

I was on a 200GB plan. But earlier this month they doubled the data for no extra cost. I get around 6 Mbps - 8 Mbps if lucky. Wish I could get better speed though. Parents pay $90 a month for it.

I did that, never again. Contracts are okay when they give you a shiny new phone but imo they're not worth it. I have a $30 Telstra prepaid which gives me about $500 worth of calls and 2GB of data which is okay cause I'm usually connected to WiFi. My phone is a $300 Lumia 640XL which is really good except for app support but that's fine by me.

Where do you live? I live in far north queensland and get better speeds than that.
