Hello

The first German reich was literally founded on the victory over the french in 1871. Please inform yourself before you come up with ignorant burger facts.

but the state of Germany did not participate in that war, because it was founded after that war

...

heh

The state of Germany exists since 1949. By that logic we never lost a war. Technically Nazi Germany was a completely different country than Germany today but there's no way where Germany only existed since WW1 which your opinion is based on. We either won and lost a lot of wars or we never lost a war, but there's no Germany lost all of their wars.

name one war that we won

Then, Russia never fought ww2 and cold war and never had communist government. Stil won the Chechen wars though.

Civil.

By that logic only the US, UK, and Canada can be held accountable for WW2.

Panama war

civil war, banana wars, revolution.

Pay reparations pls

No modern Germany is held accountable for WW2 because it's the predecessor of Nazi Germany which in return is a predecessor of the Holy Roman Empire which won countless wars.

Was that really war though?
In that case back in 1885 they lost because they couldn't invade

>Germans need not apply

But they beat France in 1871.

...

Canada wasn't the country 1939-1945 that it is today, so we can't be included.

But you're not alone there.

Yes, I was referring to 1982, as well as the addition of Newfoundland as a Province and Nunavut as a seperate and independent territory in 1999, Also a new flag for the new country.

>He will never be a small poor irrelevante meme country and rape like this.

I myself wouldn't count the addition of Newfoundland and Nunavut, especially given that the US has added Alaska and Hawaii as States since WW2 but no one considers us a different country since 1788. Though the Constitution Act 1982, as well as other patriation, does count towards significant enough change.

>let me tell you about your country

Finland gained independence from Russia in 1917, and has bravely maintained it ever since.

Hello :D

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_wars_involving_Brazil

half of these are because of the brits

lol

>lobster war

they swim tho and therefore don't belong to any countries!

fucking brazil

The US didnt beat France in the Quasi war

Germany has only existed since 1871, retard.

"Germany" isn't a country you fat burger. The Federal Republic of Germany exists since 1949.

>american education

I wasn't referring to the Federal Republic, but to the German ethnostate "Germany" which is both the German Empire, Nazi Germany, and now the bundesrepublic.

All of these political entities were and are Germany. Nothing you can say or do will ever change the fact that Germany has never and will never win a war.

> Poland jealous he isn't part of the greatest alliance in history

>former colonial master
It doesnt work like that in finlands case, because we werent a colony but just random part of eastern sweden

There was also the Holy Roman Empire of German Nations, you uneducated cunt.

The Holy Roman Empire wasn't a nationstate you fucking retard. There was never a German ethnostate prior to 1871.

You forget the HRE then. Which is what Hitler based entire Nazi Germany on. There were three Reichs, 1. HRE 2. German Empire 3. Nazi Germany which all were and are considered previous versions of Germany. Literally ever, historian will say so.

Holy Roman Empire wasn't an ethnostate, or even any kind of state at all. It was a loose confederation of various states, many of which were not German at all, and was often ruled over by non-Germans like fucking Charlemagne.

...

What about the old German tribes winning against the Romans, hmmm?

those tribes were Germanic, not German. regardless, it's important to note that the OP is referring to the history of the German nationstate rather than the German nation which are two very different things

Yes and who lived in the german parts of the HRE? Ethnic Germans. Who fought in the wars that the HRE had? Ethnic Germans. Who won those wars? Ethnic Germans. OP said germans never won a war which is absolutely wrong as ethnic Germans won a lot of wars, a united Germany never one a war which doesn't matter because there never was a consistent unified Germany.

OP didn't say Germans have never won a war, he said Germany, referring to the state founded in 1871 and its sucessors, has never won a war.

>Yes and who lived in the german parts of the HRE? Ethnic Germans.

the HRE predates the existence of ethnic Germans by several hudnred years fyi lad

>OP didn't say Germans have never won a war, he said Germany, referring to the state founded in 1871 and its sucessors, has never won a war.
Can't you fucking read? He said "germans need not apply" which implies the ethnic group and not citizens of the country.

>the HRE predates the existence of ethnic Germans by several hudnred years fyi lad
Stopped reading right there. Where do you think the people that live here come from? Germans started settling here in 1871? The name Germany and Deutschland literally say the ethnicity of germans are germanic and teutonic tribes which lived here for thousand of years.

Everything you say is so incredibly wrong have you ever read a history book? I really thought Americans have a basic grasp of European history. Stop embarrassing yourself.

Wasn't that the second?

Hi

Cola Wars

>but to the German ethnostate "Germany"
Why aren't the Holy Roman Empire (of the German Nation), the subsequent German confederation, the North German Federation considered to be German states?

It was and other also identified it as German.
As an example in French HRE is called Saint Empire romain germanique(SERG) which mean Holy Romano-Germanic Empire, and if i'm not wrong Otto the First called himself "Rex Teutonicorum" which mean King of the Germanics

So your own embassies getting bombed counts as a victory?

what did we win

Technically both world wars because you flipped sides both times.

Both World Wars
And the Italo-Turkish war

We didn't flip sides in WW1, faggot

And we call it "heiliges römisches reich deutscher nation" which means "holy roman empire of german nation".

we also won a lot of wars when we waz romans and shit

Wasn't Italy originally aligned with the German Empire but flipped sides to join the entende force because of conflicts against the Austro-Hungarian Empire?

>It was a loose confederation of various states
later on, yeah
>many of which were not German at all,
This is wrong, it was always mostly German, the Italians left around the sixteenth century, leaving only Bohemia and Slovenia which never existed as a sovereign entity with that be prior to that as non germans, prompting the Sacrum Imperium Romanum Germanicum title
>and was often ruled over by non-Germans
It might be shocking, but that's how nobility worked back then. Even then, after some point in time the Habsburgs in Austria always managed to become hold that title.

Yes, but we changed mind before having joined the war, not after, so it's not right to say that we won because we switched sides

>both times
Nice meme

Triple Alliance was just a defensive agreement and since the Empires were the attackers Italy wasn't obliged to join them (in fact we stayed neutral until 1915)

>because it was founded after that war
Being this uneducated...

I only count 5, with 4 of them being from the napoleonic wars

we are kinda the judas of europe, always betraying people and stuff. we know that

Noice
>Inb4 no war for 200 years

Why are you posting in here american?

>Venice
I somehow believe you.

>killsteal - the country

>what is Yugoslavia
>what is Afghanistan

Vietnam

I'd be willing to bet they won plenty of wars in their colonies during the short time then had them. And if we're being honest some of those victories were probably more impressive than a few of the wars my fellow americans on this board are claiming to have won.

Hi there

fuck Peru and Bolivia, always trying to take our shit

>won in the first wold war
>entente sold us to hitler
>won in the second world war
>allies sold us to stalin

What's the point, though?
