Anyone else really hate American accents? The way they say absolutely anything is really annoying

The eternally hating anglo

>live in rural SW England
>have a rhotic accent for a change
>speak like Sam Gamgee/a pirate and btfo every American accent

Can Americans do aught right, chaps?

I'd rather hear a British accent over a valley girl one any day of the week.

i love them.
t. fingol

You guys honestly think this (commentator)....

>Forgot it was cool to hate Americans though
>Muh perse4cution complex
Your accents are all fucking shit.
There isn't a conspiracy against you, you just speak like cunts, that's all there is to it.

yes, and i want to be cool too

Yes regular bloke is better than robobore

If you guys had a fraction of self-awareness and a sense of humor then it wouldn't be so fun to act the mickey.

British accents are garbage sorry not sorry contrarians but it's an objective fact.

>you speak like cunts
>dialect is full of mispronunciations

>sorry not sorry
Back to facebook with you, scum.

>dialect is full of mispronunciations
That's basically what a dialect is, you dumb cunt.

>sorry not sorry

you sound like a bitchy teenage girl.

thot's basiclee wot a dialect is, ya domb cunt*

those shoes are super ugly

t. grill

post your shoes

you don't even own shoes

What I enjoy is when yanks try to justify their accent by saying it's the more "historically accurate" way to speak. Cracks me up every time I come across it.

No, but i think it's hilarious when brits pretend they all speak in that posh, classy accent, instead of sounding the like half retarded cockneys.

checked [in british accent, not american]

Pewdiepie style European 'American English' is the best.

>hate English accents
No
>hate American accent?
Yes.

even the posh accent is irritating to me. Everyone knows Brits are the Americans of Europe yet everyone still sucks off their accent.

Standard North American = Australian > Irish > Scottish >>>>>>> Welsh/English

Murricans have the worst accents

Too drawly and not enunciated enough for me. Also Pewdiepie is a mong.

The Welsh accent is qt af you twat.

Americans and their accents are Britain's greatest crimes to the world.

We're so sorry.

>for me

For you

Sooooo me and Stacyyy were like at the mallllll and like, Debrah was there too and like she's so annoyinggggggg. Then like Stace gave her like, a verb beatdown and it was soooooooo like woke as fuck eeheeheeheeeeee

no, your greatest crime is creating instability in the middle east and elsewhere and basically ruining every country you occupied.

>youtube.com/watch?v=tYmiTEXOQu0
Genocide now please.

fanny is the cunthole you idiot

>there is no such thing as the British version of valley girl

Nah, having to hear you guys talk is worse than all of that shit put together.

this post LAMOA

So much butthurt ITT

American accents are rather varied and by no circumstances merely tantamount to a "valley girl" dialect.

Also half of English accents sound godawful. Newfies, Brummies, Scousers, etc

what the fuck do you know Indonesia you don't know anything

Yeah it's called 'Welsh'.

It's not like you'll ever go to the US, i don't see how it's that bad.

Aussie > Irish > Scottish > English >>> American accents

>There is no such thing as an American accent that doesn't make you want to stab yourself in the eardrum

Oh my gaaaaad she's such a betch.

>American accents are rather varied
EVERY TIME
MY FUCKING SIDES

You guys still take the cake with the ebonics lingo,

WHAT THE FUCK

>Being proud of being absolutely braindead retarded
As is American tradition.

Lol chill the fuck out bro, it's just how people talk and shit why does it bother you so much lmao

doesn't England have lower literacy rates than America lmao

Ah, and here's the typical American's next move.

Truly breathtaking.

Why do Americans always present themselves as smug intellectuals when they're in the right but backpeddle into retardation when they're starting to lose the argument? That's fucking bitchy kindergarten girl-tier human interaction.

LADS
This arguing is going nowhere. Might be time to pack it in.

no
lmao XD

He's playing you for (you)s, don't give him attention.

>list of brits who couldn't handle US bantz

Dude, you gotta get laid my man smdh

brits are smelly fags

I never understood this argument desu.

A lot of different languages made their mark on different areas of America which influenced accents.

I'm not a linguist by any means, but seems that our accent(s) would be a mash up of how non English speakers and even some English speakers spoke English and parts of that just became common place.

regular british accent like we hear on american tv is meh tier. that shit they speak in the north and south is not fucking english.

ask the average brit to say how now brown cow and they just sort of moan like they got the downs

if you look at writings from the english people at the time it seems like we're speaking more like they would have back then than the average british person does today.

so people say that we actually speak english "correctly". but those brits that came here were not average people back home they were broke as fuck, criminals, mostly a little crazy, or part of some werid religion.

>at the time
at the time in america* people who stayed in england didn't talk like us.

>if you look at writings from the english people at the time it seems like we're speaking more like they would have back then than the average british person does today.
>so people say that we actually speak english "correctly"
Just so we're clear, no one but mongoloids actually thinks this.

But what about present day?

I highly doubt the way the average American speaks today is similar to the 1700s.

This is the crux of why that line of thinking is painfully stupid.

Are we supposed t believe American vernacular, unlike everyone else on Earth, simply hasn't changed or evolved for 300 years? That's obviously ridiculous.

It's a stupid theory perpetuated by stupid people.

right its not actually true. our english is more similar to retarded english people from 200 years ago but people in england didn't talk like the ones that actually came here. and its mixed with the accents of all the other immigrants.

its not much different. educated upper class people imitated upper class english accents back then kinda like we used to do on tv with that fake accent we had in the 20's.

This

fuck off you fat yank fucking twat

I can hear your horrid whiny nasal fag voice from over here

>sorry not sorry

the American way of pronouncing 'water' sounds even more annoying to me

vocaroo.com/i/s1vuBPyByZkn

waiting warmly

And even if it was the same, its not as if the english language in 1700s was somehow better or more "correct" than in the 16-or-1800s. It was still completely different to how the language was when it first came into existence.

Holy shit this coming from an amerifat kys
